Varallo Pombia Zoo Park

Yesterday Sampei had a day free from work as every week, Momichan is still having half day in kindergarden so we thought it would have been nice to go somewhere alltogather. The idea was to go searching for chestnuts but really I did not have any idea where to go so we sourprisingly found a cute zoo park absolutely special: you can do safary inside with your car in the middle of animals like lions, gyraffs, rynos and more !!!

(all photos between the animals have been taken with the car windows tightly closed expecially coming near two enormous rynos !)

This Safari Park is 40 km from home and is full of animals. You can enter in a special zone with your car and you will see gyraffs (first foto, we also had to wait to go on because of them has stopped just in front of our car and did not want to move), rynos (there were two and luckily they were calm because if ever they want to make a mess it is sufficient they push the car to make car roll wheels up!), zebras, lama, deers, camels, oryx, ostrich, pelicans and more.

After the normal beasts, the second space is dedicated (and divided from the rest) to lions. Two big panels before entering the zone, remember the visitors to keep car windows closed and in case of real danger to honk three times and someone of the park will come in aid. You come near a gate and it opens, then it closes behind you and another in front opens to let you in. What you see is something special, there were two lions and two females, relaxing and taking sun in the air.

The two big males and a female were on the right, left side on a rock and looking at you there was the second female. Momichan was excited and moved behind the car seat to better see the beasts, noone of us ever had seen them so near, we could hardly breathe !
Once we got out of the special danger zone the rest of the park was normal: a cute little acquarium with many fishes swimming in their pools, a reptile house with many poisonous cobras and a big crocodile, a farm with buffalos, owls, eagles, pony, a Jurassic zone in which you could walk and hear the sounds of the big TRex killing his "lunch", eating it and after walk towards you, you could hear him breathe, stop and then wal to search something, it was really terrorising HAHAHA
As it was friday and it was a little windy the park was nearly empty but we could go everywhere quietly without being quick and Momichan also went on all the attractions and carousels.

It was really a cold afternoon but we had a very nice day, we also had time to stop and take a coffe at the local coffee shop while Momichan played in a tipical african hut.

forse non tanto se ci vai quando è tutto aperto e puoi andare dappertutto, ma adesso che era quasi tutto chiuso forse dovevano fare uno sconto
