Livigno

This morning we are leaving for Livigno, daddy is on holiday until 3 october so I have decided that Momochan can stay home and not go to kindergarden until daddy return to work so they can have time togather ;)
Momochan obviously was happy about the idea to have vacation for some time, stay with daddy and go to the mountains, so wee start this morning with our breakfast at our preferred coffe shop and after a quick shopping at the supermarket to get food for two days to take away with us, milk, butter, yogurt and cereals for breakfast, chiken meat and veggies.
After supermarket we have to go to granny because she comes with us so while we make breakfast and go supermarket she has more time to prepare luggage.
The apartment has an entrance with a kitchen and a livingroom with a sofa bed for granny, a bathroom (sooooo bigger than the one we have at home and with bathtub, YEEEEEEEE) and a bedroom for us with a double bed.

At midday we arrive at the same place we stop everytime we go Livigno, a big shopping center with a McDonalds.
As recently we have seen in the cinema The Smurfs 2, Mc Donalds has new Happy Meals with smurfs inside and Momo would like to have ;)
After lunch in an hour time we arrive, I have to say I cannot wait to go to the Foto Gino store to take my new cell phone. This small holiday has three main aim: let Momo and daddy stay togather, let daddy relax and also to buy my new cell phone as the old one has definitely ..... dead !!!  ;)
So, we have to go first to the apartment (see our apartment how it looks like) and take from the car all our luggage, then we go to the center to the foto and phone store and we buy my cell, after we go to our preferred supermarket the Cooperativa, where we can find chocolate, liquors, bresaola, and many other foods special from Livigno and of course,a coffee inside our preferred place that is Hotel Bivio, a cute place in the main road in the center of the town, it is an hotel, has a coffee corner where you can have snacks or eat for lunch and dinner and a downstairs zone for hearing music and take cocktails ;)

For evening meal we are back home, at our new apartment for theese two days.
Daddy is cooking in the little kitchen, some japanese pasta (soba ??) while Momo wants to see Ironman 3 on tv togather with granny so after meal we open the big sofa and once washed and dressed with pijama we all see the film but we have had a looong day so before end Momochan fall asleep, we take her to our bedroom, granny take possesion of her bed and Sampei and I play with cell phone and pc HEHEHE

Christmas dinner :)

We have an appointment at 20.30 to aunt and oncle house for dinner with our parents. Momochan is happy because she knows Santa Claus has taken some other presents for her and she guess in a box there will be a special one she waits since last year: a small kid pc she can take everywhere and learn colours, how to read and write words, english words and much more. (We have found this Clementoni Clem Touch Plus on the web at a reduced price and we have bought on Amazon a few days ago for her, it has a tons of small cassettes to play, it is sufficient you buy some other cassetts and you can change game, the folder of the small pc can contain four of them and once closed protects the pc in case of falling on the floor). Last year Momochan was too small to play with it also I did not found it anywhere and price was double than what I found now so now is more convenient in both cases :)

Momochan is really happy about her presents, she has had many. With that toy she will be able to learn how to write and read and she will use for long time :)

Today I had a special program for Momochan, we had planned to go restaurant as a special prize for X'mas holidays, also because in this restaurant on tuesday kids eat free so I just needed to pay for me :)
Momochan loves to go restaurant and it was so long time we were not going out for lunch. The Roadhouse is a grill meat restaurant near home and it is the only restaurant in town where there are special reduced prices for children and also from today for a short period adding a coca cola to the menu as present I would have had a key holder shaped red coca cola bottle which is really a 4gb pc key :) a cute X'Mas present for me.Momochan loves chicken so I ordered for her a portion of chiken teners with fried potatoes and for me I took more or less the same thing (see fotos) and I added a potato with sauce.
Momochan eated everything and asked for other chiken stick from my dish HAHAHA she is so sweet when she is amusing :)

let it snow let it snow :)

It' s a holiday season ... let it snow, let it snow, let it snow !!!

I am sitting on the sofa in the new livingroom, we have prepared the X'mas Tree and right now Momochan is taking a nap in her new bedroom, outside meanwhile since half an hour is snowing !!! WOW

Yesterday the sky was totally blue without any cloud but during the night the sky have been covered by a thick cloudy mattress and today after long time thinking, it has begun snowing. Soft tiny flakes fall down from the sky freezing everywhere, guess up inthe mountains already people ski like every year in this starting ski season. While I am wrintig the vases on my balcony are covering with a light snow "blanket", if it will go on like this tomorrow we will have opportunity to make snowmen :)

When Momochan will awake we will do pop-corn and watch cartoon on tv, do puzzles, sing and dance X'mas songs.

shore

Although we wanted to awake early we arrive at the shore around 11.30 AM, we seat at the same shore restaurant as yesterday and we take coffee and "bombolone" YUM YUM for breakfast, Momo has a juice.
After breakfast we go on the shore to play and we open our Ikea tent.
At this point I have to say something on this tent: the tent is really comfy but just half, it opens in two seconds and it keeps you clean, you do not need to dirty your towel with sand and in case of babies they can rest in the shadow, the problem is you always get crazy to close it but I'll tell you later ...
Today Sampei has not day free, just morning until 14.00 PM so in the evening we would be alone and I would have close the tent.
At lunch time we decided to go to the same place we had lunch yesterday with the sandwiches we loved so much and Momo wanted to eat again fries and kebab :)
It is funny to see Momo and her dad togather, I took some fotos, in some of them Momo seems to tell some secrets to daddy (look here the foto up) in some other she is just laughing like crazy or making some funny face :)
After meal with sandwich Sampei payed and runned away, he had to go home before to have shower, change and after run to the restaurant to start work, luckily home is just 50 meters from the shore now so he made quick.
Momo and I went to the shore again until six, she made sand castles and bathed a lot, swimmed and jumped happily until I said it started to get windy and was freezing to swm in the water and ... what about an ice cream ? YESSSSSSSSSSSS she said so I started to pack our things but when I arrived to pack the tent I got crazy ! I tried more than 30 times after wich someone came in aid because I was going totally mad and started to be funny, I tried to follow the instruction but they were absolutely not clear, fortunately there was another man with a tent similar to mine who helped a lot but the result was that my tend after all my efforts before was totally dusted !!! AAAHHHH ! Well I would have thought afterwards home.
After the ice cream we went home, Momo sat on the sofa to look cartoons, I had to organize for dinner and make laundry also I wanted to give a wash at the tent so I opened it also it was not folded properly, I washed it carefoully and washed around the balcony but after that I couln't fold it to close it again so after burning from fury I left it simply on the big table I had cleaned. We made shower, I put Momo a fresh pijama and left her see cartoon while I prepared dinner, meanwhile I made laundry, after dinner I put Momo to bed with her milk bottle and I went to see a film on tv.

home for the vacation :)

This morning we awake in the house Sampei is dividing with 6 collegues, the house can be cute and has a nice panorama but is far from the shore I cannot reach by feet and most of all there is no space for us ! home is a total disaster, dirty, no space for our things, bathroom is empty no furniture just a plain sink and a horrible shower, no shelves nothing at all and absolutely no place where to sleep !
Sampei divides a room with a guy and they have two beds, there is no bed for Momo (but luckily I have her camp bed in the car) and no bed for me except the sofa which is not comfortable ! luckily boss calls to say if we want to change to a better home ... YUPPIIIIIIIIIIIIII !
Two girls have to come back Milano so there is a room free in a cute home just 50 meters from the shore, clean, furnished and with a room with private bathroom all for us, we can stay all three of us togather in a double bed :)
The house had three bedrooms each one with private bathroom, a livingroom with a big sofa and a little table, table to eat for 8 people and in front a small kitchen equipped with oven, big fridge, cooking top and dishwasher !!! it has a big terrace with sight on the shore, it is near the supermarket, we can go by feet. Before Momochan got chickenpox, boss had organized for us and Sampei to stay in this home, Sampei had sent me by cell phone a foto of the panorama by night, but as Momo got ill and we couldn't come, the thing went wrong and here came two girls of the staff so, when yesterday we arrived, we had to stay in another house that was absolutely not suitabole for us, really it was a nightmare ! I slept on the sofa without even blankets, went to take in the car the camp bed for Momo and gave her her blanket and pillow I had taken from home so that she could sleep weel then I put her bed near the sofa so as to hide me a little, as another guy had to sleep in the living room but not Sampei because he slept in another room he had from the start.
In this house there are girle and normally where there are girls houses are cleaner. I guess I could have stayed in the other if Momo would not have been with us, I really cannot permit a child like her to stay in a dirty place, with no fixed place to sleep and dirty ! In this second house we can manage like home in Milan, in the evning I can prepare her dinner with what we like we can buy at the supermarket, (there are also kids plates and tools here), I prepare her the table, she can sit meanwhile on the sofa and watch cartoons or use the small table to colour her books, we can eat confortably and after I can make her shower and put to bed, close the door like home and sit my turn on the sofa to watch a film, then go to sleep and wait for Sampei to come and sleep with us.
I can also make the laundries and put outside to dry without fearing they would dirty, this is a normal house but really for us here is a dream, house it also equipped with air conditioned in every room!
Momochan too is happy to stay here, she smiled and said us the house was wonderful, she is neither 4 year old but she is so intelligent and clearly sees the differences from a place to another and appreciates the good things. (In the foto here left Momo chan is coming out of our private bedroom while in the other she has fallen asleep after a hard day :)

arriving in Olbia :)

At 6.00 AM we have to get up, the loudspeakers inform the passengers we are now reaching the Olbia harbour so we have to hurry to wash and dress, take our things, go to make breakfast and reach the car. I guess we have slept just 4 or 5 hours but Momo seems awake enough and happy to be on holiday.
Ferry boat stops and loudspeakers tell now to reach the car inside the garage so we get down at the 3rd flood.
While we are going down, a sms arrives, daddy inform us he is already outside in a grey 4x4 car, and he communicate us the plate so we can recognize, Momo start jump happily :)
Car, busses and trucks are around 1000 so getting outside is hard and we need half an hour but at last we are out. Momo sees daddy and she runs towards him, daddy too as not slept too much so we agree as it is just 7.00 AM to take a coffee and after to go to the nearby supermarket where he says many products have a low price differently from Baja Sardinia where is has home. We need some veggies and drinkable yogurt for Momo for her breakfast. On the way daddy stops to make some fotos of a special stone (see foto).
At the supermarket is still early so as there is a car wash we give a wash at both cars so that they gleam in the sun.
At 8.30 AM we get into the store, we give a look around and take veggies and some more products then we get out and we direct to make gasoline: our car is nearly empty and daddy also has to fill the tank. In a short time we arrive at the restaurant were Sampei works, we had already seen it last year by foto but seeing it now live is another thing. At the moment the place is closed as it is monday and all the staff is on free day, daddy will have all day to stay with us so we can go seaside, Momochan wants to bath and make sand castles :)
We arrive at the temporary house and leave all our properties then take our sand items, towels and sun cream, jump again in the car and reach the shore. Momochan is no more afraid of water and starts to play and jump in the sea, water is warm and shallow, it is just 60 cm so she can play and swim easily :)
We have our Ikea tent and as we discover lately it has been a good idea, we have put all out bags inside and towels so that if Momo needs she can take a nap in the shadow.
For lunch time Sampei takes us at a small sandwich coffee place, where all his erstaurants collegues eat nearly every day. We order sandwich that we soon discover to be very good, for Momo we take a dish of turkey kebab meat and french fries and she is really good and finishes everything but she is really tired poor baby, she hasn't slept so much in the night, so just after the meal she simply slides on the chair and fall asleep, we quickly pay the bill and take Momo in our arms we direct to the shore and lay her inside the tent where she sleeps at least two hours :) Meanwhile on the beach arrives many sellers: ice cream man, black men selling glasses, bags, fresh dresses, everything you can imagine, same as it was when I was small and I went seaside with my mum in Sanremo :)
When Momo awakes she wants to bath, we stay on the shore to play and swim until 18.00 PM after that we pack all our things and go to the nearby ice cream shop where Momo orders a strawberry ice cream :)
Momo is still tired and poor baby and poor me we have to wait for dinner time because daddy's boss has organized a dinner in a nearby churrascaria with all his staff but dinner will start at 22.00 PM time in which Momo normally is already in bed ! We go home to have a shower and change dress and we go out again to take a look at the shops, here is nearly like Milano Montenapoleone, most of the stores are Valentino, Fred Perry, Missoni, Moschino, just rich people can buy here apart from a few normal shops which sell much chaper items displayed in the same elegant way :) We arrive at the restaurant, Momo is tired but she beahves well, she has discovered she can eat salami and ham, french fries and fried bananas, fried polenta, veggies and grilled meat ! she asks me to take a dish and she tells me what to put on it.
Dinner flows well brasilian between brasilian music and churrasco until we say goodby to everybody and we leave to take Momo to bed, tomorrow we want to go seaside again and build sand castles, sun bath and jump in the water again :)
