21st march: SPRING !!!

Today is the first day of spring and as it is a sunny day with blue sky and no clouds we can believe it although we will need more time here in Italy to have spring, weather forecast has said we will still have a week or two with snow in the mountains (!!!!!) and rain everywhere ....... AHHHHH !!!
Anyway today is sunny and kindergarden kids among which Momochan, today at the entrance have planted some flowers ;) they will celebrate spring by planting flowers and creating spring decorations, this red bee you see on the left has been made by Momochan and the decorations you can see in the other foto she made with the other kids and the teachers ;)
Inside kindergarden in every season they change decorations, now they have floweers and insects, for X'mas they had snow flakes, raindeers and Santas, for Canival they had stelle filanti, confettis and coloured items hanging from the ceiling of the corridors and the classes ;)

father's day ;)

Today in Italy as in most part of the world is Father's Day ;)
Inside kindergarden Momochan and her friends as for every special occasion (X'mas, Easter, mum's day, father's day ....) have made a special work for dad, it is all the week they are working on it togather with a small poetry they are learning by heart to tell daddy by giving him the present.
I will see this special thing as soon as we will go and take Momochan this afternoon.

h. 14.30 - Momochan has realized with the help of the teachers a useful gadget for daddy to help parking.
Daddy however is working and she will have to give him this night, we will leave the present on the table of the kitchen togather with a special croissant we have bought in our preferred coffee shop which for the occasion has prepared some special cake decorated and shaped "daddy style" ;)
Luckily we have celebrated daddy on sunday and for the occasion we had reserved in the coffee shop a special cake for which I have sent by mail a special photo of Momo and dad to realize a special decoration to put on the top (read about that) :)

daddy's day ;)

The 19th of march in Italy is father's day but as "our" dad will be working as normally from 9.00 AM to 2.00 AM and sunday is his day free, we thought it was best to celebrate today ;)
For that purpose granny hass come for lunch and we had ordered a few days ago, a special cake with a  sweet foto of Momochan and dad; the foto is 2 years old but as you can see below, it is so sweet, Momochan at that time did not speak, butin the image she seemedd to tell daddy a lot of secrets :D We had thought also to prepare a special menu: salmon cooked in the oven, fresh salad, antipasto of salami and ham, and carrots cooked with butter as veggies for Momochan (she doesn't eat salad).

This morning Sampei is home so we profit of the situation to take a walk alltogather.
As we arrive to the main plaza we see there is a fair with little market, games and make-up-kids and there we meet again Giorgia and her make up corner ;)

Momochan asks me if she can have a new make up on her face and we tell her we will come back in the afternoon so she can play and have her make up but now is time to go shopping at Lidl store and aftewards to come back home to prepare lunch, daddy will cook some rice and add turkey meat and a strange vegeble like salad that he has to cook. Momocan will not have nap this afternoon because there is no time.
At 16.30 as promised we come back to the plaza.

Momochan wants to to on the big gummy slider and on the jumping pad but she also wants her special make up. She starts from the slider, she has tickes free today for 5 turns, a friend has given us some time ago because she has many and she knew Momochan liked it so much so I had I kept in my purse waitin the occasion to let Momochan use them.
As soon as Momo finish the turns on the big gummy slide, she runs towards Giorgia asking her to make a colourful make up on her face, Giorgia shows her a special new palette that looks like a rainbow and tells Momochan she will use that, the result is a cute rainbow on her face, Momochan is happy about it because she loves many colours togather and start to jump here and there smiling.

After that Momochan asks daddy if she can go jumping on the big jumping pad and daddy says "yesss", she has been a really good child recently ;)

It is funny to see Momochan on occasion of fairs, I do not like them so much but we go because I know she will amuse so much and that there is always something to see, games and something Momochan can do ;)

It is really amusing jumping like that, the man attaches Momo to a special climbing harness (foto left) and she starts to jump, sooooo high, she is really happy and laughs a lot ;)
Daddy looks her and I film her, she is jumping so high she seems to touch the sky, this  attraction is really fantastic HAHAHA and Momochan continues to laugh ;)
At 18.00 Momochan says she is a little tired and we start to go home but before she wants to pass through the park because she wants to go on the new slider the townall has set in january this year, a new cute sourprise of the starting new year. We stay just a little because around six o'clock start to become humid and also we want to go home in the warm ;)

MIMOSA CAKE

Today in Italy is woman's day and everywhere mimosa flower are sold, in out preferred coffee shop, inside the freezer Mimosa cake appears.
I do not know if somewhere mimosa cake exists but is a classical cake for today, mimosa cake is the exact contrary of blackforest cake which is entirely madde of chokolate but looks the same only brown in colour, both are soft, with cream or choko cream or lemon cream inside and the special appearance made of small dices and a half round shape. Granny has come to party with us, inthe afternoon Momichan and I have gone to the shop under our house to buy some "magic wands" a kind of home little fireworks that sparkle but you can hold in your hands all the time and looks like a magic wand, Momo loves them :)

We have prepared veggies and cotechino and some starts like polenta and mushrooms, we also had salami and ham and some tartufo cheese and salami.
Momo and granny were playing with a new game we had bought to play alltogather adn Momochan was winning everytime and was loosing, Momo laughed every time, the game treated to take away some sticks from a rocket shaped thing without letting the little balls inside fall down but everytime it was my turn I was unlucky and my sticks always made balls fall !!! the winner of the game is the one who has less balls than the other.
As we have finished eating Momochan asked about lighting her magic wands, they are coloured, green, red, orange and some white, she was amusing so much but in a short time all the livingroom was full of smoke HAHAHA

Anyway, at midnight outside in the sky somewhere in the central plaza of the town, fireworks startedand Momo started to jump and shout happily, we were running from one side of the other inside the house to see the better possible, some fireworks were really enormous, other just made noise, some seemed gold fountains and some just magic sparkling dust, Momochan loved them all :)

Around one o'clock everything was finished and Momochan was tired.
I started to put everything in order and prepare milk bottle for her while daddy helped to put pijama and granny helped in the kitchen, I was tired too and I guess when everyone touched the bed, fall in a deep sleep :)

Today I had a special program for Momochan, we had planned to go restaurant as a special prize for X'mas holidays, also because in this restaurant on tuesday kids eat free so I just needed to pay for me :)
Momochan loves to go restaurant and it was so long time we were not going out for lunch. The Roadhouse is a grill meat restaurant near home and it is the only restaurant in town where there are special reduced prices for children and also from today for a short period adding a coca cola to the menu as present I would have had a key holder shaped red coca cola bottle which is really a 4gb pc key :) a cute X'Mas present for me.Momochan loves chicken so I ordered for her a portion of chiken teners with fried potatoes and for me I took more or less the same thing (see fotos) and I added a potato with sauce.
Momochan eated everything and asked for other chiken stick from my dish HAHAHA she is so sweet when she is amusing :)

Happy birthday Momochan !!!

As we are in the moving period and home is still to be cleaned and organized and also because I am really tired, we thought in advance to reserve a party for Momochan's bday this afternoon at Arcobaleno Delle Favole so today is also our first day of relax .... more or less .... This morning I awakened Momo taking my cellphone and making it sound "happy birthday to you" melody, I had also taken during the night two presents (a Lego game and a big Thomas The Train puzzle) on her little table ready to be opened. Momo thus opened her presents then I dressed her up to go kindergarden, I also took two cakes and fruit juices to let her celebrate with her class as usual inside kindergarden (kids and teacher make a crown and write the name of the b'day kid and the age of the celebrated kid). After having taken her to kindergarden I came home, to have a perfect day our house needed some more work invisible from Momo's eyes, the plumber had to come to connect sink, fawcett, washmashine and gas for cooktop, after which the house was a total disaster and I had again to clean around and wash the floor of entire home. In the meantime at 14.00 PM daddy (day free today) was going McDonalds to take some sandwich for us both and clean the car which because of the moving was totally dirty :( he came home, changed dress and runned to take the birthday cake. At 16.00 PM I went to take Momo from kindergarden to take her home and change dress for the party, take camera, the little presents for her friends and the gummy socks for the playground, daddy came just before 17.00 to take us all at the party ! All the day was a total run and the party also seemed to me like a run, kids went around jumping and playing, parents lokked around, then the organizers started to take beverages and snacks (the cake they would have brought at the table at 18.00 before the opening of the presents). I wanted to relax, took a coffee, talked a little around with every mum of Momo's friends around but seemed time was running too quick I was feeling strange and in a moment was already timme for the cake and the foto, every kid grouped at the table, sing a song, cake coming, Momochan blowing off the candle ! HURRAAAH !!! Happy birthday Momochan !!! Every kid this time eat a piece of cake (last year the cake was just tasted from the kids) and again they runned away to play, after a while they came back, Momochan had to open the presents, a doll, an interesting book, a pijama, a Hello Kitty kick scooter wich Momo was waiting since so much time and desired so much and again it was 19.00 time to go home, the playground was closing. Thanks to everybody and many kisses to everyone and we were home, granny was already waiting in front of the door, we went up and daddy followed with the presents. I assembled the kick scooter and Momochan started to go around the house while daddy went upstairs into the attic to take some dishes, pots and pans to cook dinner. Home is bigger now but some furniture lacks so as we until the last moment didn't have washmashine working, I could't fill the kitchen with tons of dusty items so we took everything upstairs and now we have to make a kind of treasure chest every time we need something, right now we do not know where pans have been placed :)
Anyway we succeeded in having quite a normal table and organize a quite normal dinner even if I wanted to make a cake and I had bought a bottle wine and a cake stamp but did not have any time to cook any cake.
Granny gave Momochan her last present, an enormous Ikea elephant wich sleeps on her little bed, Momo came in our bed to sleep when at 22.00 PM after having cleaned the kitchen we all went to bed totally tired.
