journey back home

This morning as soon as we awake we have a bad sourprise .... Momochan is entirely covered by small red dots ..... !
We have to leave for home today and come back Milan, we have to go to the restaurant where Sampei is working to pick up the ticket for Sardegna, and as the restaurant will be closed on sunday I have to go before coming home, so we wash, dress, I give Momichan breakfast and start to take our bagages inside the car while granny is preparing her things.
Outside is raining thick, luckily I had prepared our things yesterday evening so I have just to put everything inside the trunk. As soon as we are ready we close the apartment door and go down to the concierge to give back the key and, out in the rain we go :)
Momichan is tired so she sits in her child seat drawing and looking outside, I am driving slowly and granny is looking outside.
For lunch time we stop at the same McDonald of the outward journey but this time granny and Momochan wait me inside the car, I get down and buy some sandwiches and for Momochan a happy meal, inside the place is full of kids !!!
On monday I will have to take the kid to her pediatrician to be sure what she has and until that time I will keep her away from every kid around.

not feeling well ...

During the night Momichan has not felt so good, she had fever and was burning quite a lot but this morning she was feeling well again, I gave a look at her but everything was like ever so after breakfast we got out.
We went to the Nature Club to make Momi play, today air is fresh and there are not so many kids around, she looks at the animals, goats and bunnies are outside, she loves the animals, kids park is empty so she can play alone.
At midday we take a sit at the pic nic tables and we take out the sac, the food we have taken from "home", Momichan has still fever so I decide is best to take her to the town doctor.
We take the car and we go to the clinic center, the place is well organized for a town of 6500 people and is equipped withh an helicopter and a helicopter place near the entrance of the clinic in case of accidents during summer or winter. As soon as we arrive there I notice Momichan has some red dots on her body like for an allergy maybe she has eaten too many eggs ??!
The doctor arrives and examine her but he says he doesn't have the slightest idea what it is but he is sure it is no kid illness nor allergy so he says she can play with kids.
We come back to the kids Nature club for baby dance and she amuses so much, she is fresh now, no fever.
After dance we go straight home, Momichan draws and we watch tv, outside is starting raining again.

the dairy :)

This morning again we go to the kids park along the path for the dairy.
Sun is shining again and temperature is around 20 degrees, we arrive at the kids park for lunch time, we open our sacks and start to eat the sandwiches we have brought, after meal, Momichan plays a little and granny start to read her book.
It would be fantastic if we could have a park like that in our town :))))) clean, open and wide, you can easily lay on the grass wherever corner you want, no trash around, it is equipped with wc, pic nic tables, fountains, nobody damages anything here, it is really a fantastic place where to take kids, take sun and relax :) sliders are clean and are big, it is a pleasure to play there, and it is safe too :)
After one hour Momichan runs towards me and says she wants to take a walk because she is annoying, today there a not many kids around even if it a sunny day so while granny stays in the sun reading her book, Momi and I take a walk until the dairy. Along the way Momichan want to pick some fruits, (white ribes) we have discovered some berries and she wants to have some to eat.
Today is fresh so Momichan has her sweat shirt and pants on and her blue rucksac with hat, sun cream, waterbottle and a change of t-shirt just in case she may need :)
Soon we arrive at the dairy, in front of it flows a little river and there is much space tu run, play and take sun or roll on the grass :)
It is full of little mountain flowers but we do not pick them up, they are beautiful where they are.
We play a little around, take some fotos and search for horse prints or animal prints in general, then we get inside the dairy because Momichan wants me to buy her a fresh yogurt to drink and I need a strong mountain coffee :)
Inside the dairy is organized with a part with maschinery to transform milk into butter, cheese, and various products, a little shop in which you can buy the products, a place in which you can eat and a terrace to take sun or buy fresh made ice creams :)
There is a mixture of fresh milk and cheese togather with straw and cow smell. We take a look at the shop, there are a lot of different cheese, some fresh and some other older, soft or hard, there is butter, yogurt in various tastes of fruit, fresh cream, ice creams :)

Momichan is fascinated by the machinery, pity is that I wanted to let see the process of transforming milk but as now there are too many people and in the dairy staff is so busy, it is possible to see it only if organized in groups of at least 10 people and we are just three ! but we can return another time maybe with daddy in a differnt period and Momi will see :)
After coffee and a strawberry yogurt we decide to reach granny at the kids park, eventually she is wondering where we have gone :)
On the way back a swiss woman and her kid gives Momo as present a crown made by fields flowers, Momichan is happy to wear it, she says she feels a princess and she start to jump around laughing.

There is a kilometer and a half to walk, between the dairy and the kid park, when we arrive there, granny is still reading and taking sun but temperature is slowly going down and some big clouds are arriving from far away, soon it will rain again and it is best if we get home or go the other side of the town with car to let Momichan do baby dance :)

again kids park ...

This morning we take a walk in the town to get a look of the shops, Momichan wants me to buy her a wooden puzzle game in a shop near the farmacy which sells a lot of wooden games. Also we have to buy some food for midday's pic nic.

After that we are ready to go to the kids park near the Dairy wher Momichan can play and find kids and we can take sun and relax, we have even found and made friends a mum and two kids coming from Milano and we have also exchanged address and email to get in contact once back in our town. Granny reads her book, Momichan plays and runs here and there, I read and relax, taking sun and looking at the panorama :)

Nature Club ...

After brackfast Momichan is impatient to go to the kids Nature Club.
For all summer, local Townhall has organised a lot of activities for every kids organized in groups, small kids 3-5 years till kids of 13.
There is a covered zone to organize games, concerts, theathre and more, and an anormous zone outside with kids park, sliders, balances and animal house with goats, hens, roosters, bunnies :)
Momichan loves the animals, the first thing kids do today is feeding them. Togatherr with a staff member kids enter the animal zone and feed the chikens, staff girl gives as present to each kid a fresh egg ready made :) Momichan runs rowards us yelling "mommy, granny !
She gave me an egggggg !!! :)))
Then she comes back, is the turn to give bread and herbs to the goats, some of the kids are playing with the bunnies, staff girl tells each how to treat the animals not to scare them. Some of the kids are scared of the goats and yell, some other are shy and some others amuse a lot :)
Around 12.30 activities end to restart in the afternoon, we want to go pic nic ad the big kids park along the river and will be back before five fot baby dance, Momichan doesn't want to miss it :)
So, we take the car to move across the long valley until the kids park, ther eis a parking lot we can leave the car and proceed the walk by feet until Alpisella Shelter over the mountain lake.
Again we are inside the forest, river on the left side, wood on the right side, sunny shining makes again come out the forest smell, flowers explode once more in yellow, dark blue and white clouds, some little flowers are dark red, smell like vanilla and have a curious shape (FOTO 1874).
Momichan and granny walk along the path while I, staying backside, take a lot of fotos of the panorama :)
Befwee the rocks (FOTO 1807) blue campanulas comes out and thousands of other flowers decorate the mountain fields :) Soon we arrive at the big lake and the bridge taking to the shelter lot but as we arrive there sky has become cludy and a shy cold wind blows around.
We sit for lunch time and we take out of the sack the food we have taken with us, Momichan jumps around and shows granny the bunnies and goats. Around 15.00 Pm we decide is best to come back because weather is turning bad so we take all our things and start to walk along the bridge and the path back.
Arrived near the Dairy is already raining, we have to run to take the car because we are already
freezing and baby dance wait for us. As soon as we arrive at the Plaza Placheda lot, sun is out again, kids are all around feeding the poultry and again we receive two eggs, Momichan is happy and soon music start and kids dance again :)
Inexplicably grass and earth are now totally dry even if just a few minutes ago was raining thickly !!! BAH At the end of the dance Momichan plays a little around and makes somersaults.

We stay a little more then around 18.00 we start to take our things to go back "home", while
cooking Momichan will draw and watch tv before dinner and sleeping time :)

bike ride ...

The hotel offers free bikes so we ask for a couple, one of which with child seat, we have already prepared some sandwiches and rucksack but we need some more food.
On the way near the main church I find a new cute supermaket with much more veggies, fruits, and food cheaper than the market my mom is always going to, we but a bottle gas water for Momichan, ham, salami and apples.
Destination is the kids park we visited yesterday, Momichan cannot wait to play there :)
After meal Momichan plays a little going up and down the sliders and the big balance nest shaped, day is not so sunny but luckily it doesn't rain, someone said it will rain in the evening around six o'clock.
It is peaceful there and I can relax looking around and looking after Momichan :)
Near the play park there is the big Livigno Dairy, we can look from the big windows outside how milk can be transformed into cheese and butter.
From the kids park we just have to take a walk in the middle of nature, mountains every where, a river on the left side, forest on the right side up on the mountains. Dairy is just one km from the kid park, we park the bicycles and we get inside, there is a coffee corner, a shop where to buy fresh dairy products such as fresh milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, Momichan want s to drink a fresh yogurt, I buy some cheese, Momichan wants to give a look to the machinery downstairs where someone is making ice cream, there is a big window to look through.
Just outside we buy a couple of fresh ice cream, strawberry for Momo and pistacchio for me.
We sit on the grass looking around while we finish the ice creams, panorama is wonderful and I am perfectly relaxed, for the first time in four years I am not making any programs I just eat my ice cream, take the sun, feel the mountain air, the perfumes, the river flow, the insects flying, the grass soft and perfumed.
This place seems really hidylliac but granny wants to go home, she is not feeling good on the bicycle, we want to stay so she comes back alone while Momichan and I proceed on the mountain path easy to do with the bicycles or by feet.
We see old people walking, parents with strollers, mountain bikes and soon we are already inside the forest, the sun heating the pine trees lets them give off a wonderful resin smell and the earth and herbs and flowers which make a vanilla smell, and the wind that moves the high herbs and trees making a kind of lullaby :)
Momichan loves to go on the bike child seat, she looks around in the forest and down to the rivers wich is now transforming in a mountain lake with a deep, freezing, emerald colour :)
Everywhere is full on yellow, white, pink and blue little flowers, little white stars, puffy pink
flowers, yellow explosions with small dark green leaves, deep blue cones and strange big white "umbrellas" flowers are all around us in total peace.
We arrive at Alpisella Refuge, a place where to stop for a drink, a snack or take sun in the total peace of the mountains, no car clacksons, no people yelling, just the sound of water, bird singing and children laughing :)
There is a kids corner to play and rabbit and mountains goats, Momichan is enchanted and starts to jump everywhere calling the bunnies, one big and white and the other smaller and grey, I look at her while drinking a hot coffee in the peaceful sun :)
This place is wonderful to take granny tomorrow and if she doesn't want to come with the bike we can reach it by feet :)
Coming back "home" (hotel) we see some people on horses, Momichan would like to go but she is still to small, we want to go to the other side of the town because at 17.00 PM the Nature Club for kids organize baby dance but with the bicycle is so hard and when we arrive is already finished but we can have the week program with many things for Momichan to do, baby dance is every evening so she can do tomorrow and there is also a Animal house with goats, bunnies, hens and rooster and a play ground, tomorrow Momichan will be very busy :)
In a short moment sky is rumbling and lighting and soon after a thick freezing rain is coming, we have to ride quicly "home" where granny will cook dinner and after sleeping we will have a warm shower :)

the morning after :)

As soon as we have finished breakfast we notice outside is raining !!! UFFFFFF !
Luckily I have in my city bag Momichan's japanes raincoat so I put it on Momichan and we get out. Absurdly we have already a lot of dresses to wash so we go to the nearest coin laundry and we leave our dresses washing.
Granny has something to do, we will meet soon after and in the meantime Momichan and I take a walk to explore the surroundings, there is a coffee shop but not so cute, a lot od shops and a place in which we can buy newspapers, postcards and otherr items, we choose some cards to send to Japan and we get out again, we have to go the laundry to put dresses in the dryer and call granny.
We have to come back home to cook lunch as it is always raining but before we buy a plastic mountain tablecloth.
After lunch Momichan has her usual nap, (about two hours), she is already tired, so tired she doesn't even need her usual milk bottle, Livigno is 1830 meters high in the mountains, and moving and breathing is quite different from home.
Around five we get out to take a walk, is not raining anymore, Momichan wants to find a kids park, in the middle of the town near the center there are some plays then granny reaches us (she had something more to do) and we take the car to take a look around, we discover a nice place, a cute kid park on the way for the Alpisella mountain shelter where we want to go tomorrow if weather will be ok.
The park in which we are now is a cute and clean kid park, with sliders, balances, fountains, toilet, pic nic tables,grass is soft and clean and is cut short, Momichan can play and we can take sun tomorrow.
It is already 19.30 but we let Momichan play a little while I take some fotos of the surroundings.
Herbs and mountain flowers are simple and beautiful, yellow and tiny, white like little stars, a deep blue/violet and also some strange deep purple ones smelling like vanilla :) I love flowers but I never pick them up, there are fantastic where they are, at home in a vase things would be different :) take a look at theese flowers in the fields :)
There is a mountain river and the tipical mountain flowers everywhere, air is clean and fresh, houses are made of stones and wood, green and field are everywhere, Livigno is inside a gorge so mountains are left and right side covered with pine woods in which live marmots, awks, bunnies, mouses, snakes, deers, eagles.
