Today Momichan and I leave Milan to reach daddy in Sardinia :)
I have already prepared dress changes for Momi and me, pillows and blankets, base food (pasta, oil, vinegar, salt, bisquits and corn flakes, sponge and dish soap, a cleaner ...) and I have put them into the car, now we just have to finish the last things and we will be on the road :)
Momichan is happy to reach daddy she is not seeing since two months and also she is happy to go seaside even if she hasn't the slightest idea how Sardinia is, clear white sand on the shores, clear blue water, a special aroma in the air, rocks and plant visible only here and houses made in a particular way with stones, wood and natural colours so that they can be part of the panorama and not just something horrible to see :)
Anyway first place we see on the way is Pisa, I want to show Momichan the famous tower and present her one of my best friends who will wait us just under the tower :)
Pisa is nearly 300 km from home and just 20 km after we will be in Livorno where in the late evening we will take the ferry boat to reach Olbia in Sardinia where daddy will come to take us up.
After a pit stop for eating and coffee we finally reach Pisa, the Tower is easy to see just following the Center city directories we easily see the Miracoli Plaza where all the monuments are and in a few seconds we meet my friend, rReally is at leat four years we do not see, sometimes we send messagens by mail but the strange effect is that everytime we see is like if we have left the evening before and no time has passed by, he also has kids, two males much bigger than Momo.
We start to walk to see the Tower and the Dome, Momo is enchanted, we sit at a central cofee ice cream shop and Momi asks for a strawberry ice and I for a coffee, my friend instead asks for a big "affogato" and receives an enormous ice cream :) Momochan is a really good child, I always tell her if she ask for something to eat when she receives she has to eat all so she finishes all her ice cream :)
We give a look around, ther are many small markets selling post cards, bags, souvenir from Pisa, small Towers and much more, there are also many barouches, typical horse drawn carriages
from the 18th century which now take tourists up and down the Miracoli Plaza but we do not have time today, we have to reach Livorno and my friend is waited home so he accompanies us until Livorno Harbour then we say goodbye and we direct towards the gate to get inside the ferry.
We have to wait a few hours as it is 19.30 and ferry will arrive only at 23.30 PM so we have time to eat, have a coffee, give a look around, draw with coloured pastels ...
Momo is really a good child, she jumps here and there, looks around, draws, laughs and finally
we see the ferry boat arrive, I have already told Momo about sleeping inside the big boat and she seems happy about.
As soon as we enter the boat we park, take our things for the night and we get up the stairs until 7th floor to ask for our cabin, is nearly midnight. Our cabin is small and in the interior side but seems clean and comfy, has a private bathroom with shower and we profit of the shower beacuse we are really tired and sweated but before going bed we want to take a
look around and see if the next morning there will be breackfast or not. At the 8th floor there are games for kids and Momoochan amuses a lot then I take a coffee and she takes fotos, we are both tired now and is best to go sleep a few hours but unespectedly the sea is not calm at all and as I am sea sick I do not feel good at all while Momo is a little frightened because she thinks boat will crack and we will fall in the sea in the middle of sharks ! HAHAHA no Momo I tell her is impossible it can happen and finally the sea calms and we can sleep, tomorrow daddy will be at Olbia harbour and Momo wants to see him :)
