father's day

In Europe the 19th march is Father's Day and kids at school organize some little handwork to build themself and give daddy as present (see foto, is a container for pen and writing items). Momichan herself has a little handwork with a little poetry she has learnt by heart to tell daddy this evening :) she is very jouzu :)

Not in all the world Father's Day is celebrated the 19th March, in Japan for instance is celebrated the 3rd sunday of June the same as in France, Martinica, Malesia, Malta, Mauritius, Switzerland, Bahamas and in many others, in Brazil Father's Day is the second sunday of August.

In Italy the special sweet for today is a kind of big fried frittella filled with egg cream and a cherry on the top, we bought two for daddy in our preferred coffee shop :) the name of this dessert is "dolce di San Giuseppe" :) (see foto on the right).

Today is quite cold anyway, sky is cloudy and a little chill wind blows around but when Momichan gets out of kindergarden at 16.00 PM we want to go to a special park where there are many free animals: squirrels, deers, roosters and chikens, rabbits ... and this evening we will stay out for dinner alltogather :)

The first animals we see at the entrance of the park are different types ducks and swans, either white or black, the black one are quite rare, beack is red and they can sing, the white ones are bigger, beack is orange and the voice is more a hiss than a normal sound.
We have brought half a kilo bread to give the them and Momichan amuses to throw them some bits :)
Walking towards the forest inside the park we meet many squirrels, we give them some bread and they take and run on a tree to eat, Momichan is excited, then we see a little rabbit and she start to run after him until he reaches a space with many chicken, roosters, indian peafowls (there are many, some of them are really enormous) and other ducks wse normally do not see ofter around.

Deers are just near in the same space, there are many and some come near us to take a look at us and maybe hoping we can give something to eat to them :)

Among the big deers we also see an emu :) so strange bird, with long soft feather, it doesn't fly but is able to run very fast.

It is already late despite sun light is still on and seems early but our stomachs tell us is neaqrly dinner time so we decide to go a tipical meat restaurant called Roadhouse near home, Momichan loves the meat we can eat there and also the big oven cooked potatoes, she eats a lot of meat this time and as soon as we arrive home I change her put a fresh pijama, give her her milk bottle and she soon fall in the land of dreams :)
