daddy leaves for work

The 28 june Momichan's daddy has left our town to go working in Sardinia for the summer, he will come back end of august. It is a nice experience, he is learning so much but little Momichan is not so happy about, often when is time for nap or to sleep in the night she wants to wear one of daddy's t-shirts and often cries :-(

Nappiesssssss

Since last saturday Momichan is not wearing her nappies any more and is proud of her tiny nude bottom inside her panties. I have to say she is really clever, she has had only two little "accidents" at home in which she told me after "mommy.... pipi!".

This morning for example I too her to kindergarden (this is the last week) without nappy and she never failed to say to the teacher whenever she needed to go bathroom ^^

I said this is the last week because the 1st july kindergarden is ended and in september she will attend another one for bigger kids, she has grown up so much in eight and in progresses, now she is able to dress normally without nappy, she is able to build longer and complicated sentences, eating and drinking by herself also with norml glasses instead of kiddies plastic ones, she makes connections and her first reasonings and rememberings, she is able to play with different toys, build towers, make sand castles, count until 10, put on her dressses nearly all by herself, ride her bicicle fast, jump high, follow an entire cartoon and understand the story, she has two new teeth (20 in total) and is also able to speack to granny or daddy on the phone recognize them and tell them something and many other things. WOW this is my baby, 93 cm height ^^

Home

Since a few days we are back in our old house, I have worked for two months to make old house again clean and confortable, buying new furiniture, cleaning, washing and moving and all this will be just temporarily for I do not know how much time, maybe one year, bah ...
The cute thing is that I have thrown away so many things we did not need, items given away, other sold, now house is wider and we have more or less just what we need ^^
During summer I will work on it a little more so that in autumn house will be perfect. Momichan has now her play corner with all her things, toys and books she can reach by herself, she can even leave her toys on the floor if we have no time to arrange things or in case we are too tired HIHI and she appreciate that ^^

Home again

Today we come back home again ^^

This morning we went on the shore to take some others shells for our collection, it was pretty sunny so it was nice to go. Momichan made some sand castles and decorated with shells, we walked a little in the sea and took some shells, a couple of baskets more or less HAHA

At noon we say "goodbye" to the sea and go up in the room to have shower, cream and fresh washed dresses. After that we come down in the hall and, while Momichan waits sitting there, I take all bagages inside the car.

Time to eat lunch !!!

I already paid hotel yesterday so after lunch we are ready to go. I have a milk bottle ready for Momichan and her car seat and toys are all clean and nice smelling because yeasterday I also found a laundry in town, the one you use with coins and with just 6,00 euros I have completely washed and dried everything YUP !!!

Momi seems to be a little said but at home daddy and granny are waiting for us in the evening. Soon Momichan fall asleep in her car seat, hot milk works magnificently ^^

I drive for quite 200 km before having a stop to relax and take a coffe and ... vist the toilet ;-P

Momichan is sleepy and cries a little but as I put her in her seat she fall asleep again.

Finally we arrive home, I take Momichan inside to wach her preferred cartoon on tv and start to take the bagages inside.

At 19.00 granny comes back home from church where she goes every saturday at 18.00, daddy will be home later int he night. Momi is happy to see granny and soon dinner is ready. At 21.00 Momichan is tired and say she want to go bed. Another milk bottle is ready for her, she has eaten everything, ikea meatballs and veggies (broccoli).

leaving for home :)

Today we come back home so as it seems to be quite sunny (at lest for the morning), we go on the beach. Yesterday evening while she was already sleeping I prepared the suitcases and put away all our things so that for today we have out just what we need for beach and the travel. After the usual breakfast we go on the beach but Momochan is a little said and even if she knows she will soon see her granny she has a cloudy said face.

To make her smile I see a man on the beach behind us selling funny toys so I decide to buy one for her she can put on the balcony or attached to her little bed at home. It is a giant ladybug shaped girandola which moves with the wind and turns left and right and has a funny face :) Momi likes it very much. We play a little while, we take a walk on the shore to catch shells which the sea has taken yesterday night and we give a looong sight at the sea. Momochan builts sandcastles and we decorate them with the shells :) We have to go, we have to shower, dress, take our things and put in the car and go to the resurant to eat before leaving for Milano.
We have shower then I dress Momochan comfortable with shirt and pants, then I take luggage and togather we go down, I need two travels to take our things into the car and Momichan is in the hall togather with the concierge for a few minutes. She is happy to see me as I come back and we go eating in the restaurant.
Really I am happy to come back home because this vacation has not been the best one I have had and really I wanted to offer more to my baby but anyway she doesn't seem to notice and she has has a new positive experience and has learnt she from now on, loves the beach, the sand, the sea, the shells :)

last day

Today is our last day vacation, tomorrow in the late morning we will leave to go back home.

This morning as every day we went on the beach and after we came back to eat at the restaurant. Theese last days at last sun has come out again after 3 days of rain and clouds so now Momochan is happy again and she can play on the beach without worring about cold and the rain.

She has been a very good child all the time I must say, so sweet baby and she has learnt so much. This afternoon we are again on the beach in the kid zone, Momochan loves castle but this one is made to copy a pirate galeon and she acts as if she is the captain HAHAHA
This eveningI take Momochan for the second time on the kids go-kart, she is really good for a baby who has never tried and she is able to drive without any mistakes, she loves that game and amuses so much :)

seaside life

Today it was nice on the beach, sunny and warm so that at 18.30 we are still there playing and laughing.
Today Momochan plays on the sliders on the beach and she amuses so much, it is nicer to stay on the beach than in a city park :))
I look at her playing while having my usual afternoon cup of coffee and after she asks me for an ice cream :))
This evening we will do something different, I need to do laundry and inside the hotel I cannot wash nicely our dresses, as weather is horribly humid most of the time we have many things humid and dirty as everytime we go with the bicycle we get rain so we need to wash nearly everything we have.

I have found a nice coin laundry and I know Momochan will help and she will amuse doing it so after dinner we will collect in a big bag all our dresses, take the car and go ^^

beach :)))))

This morning weather seems better so around 11.00 after having eaten breakfast as every morning here we are on the beach with all our toys and swimm items.

As it seems to be warmer today Momochan tries to get into the water. It is a little windy so water is not clear and wawes are pretty high but kids amuse to jump in the water and so does Momochan; some other makes the kites fly, there a re many so cute and Momo looks at them estatic.

On the beach there are also kids corners with castles to climb inside, sliders, merry go round and jumping pads so I take Momochan there so that she can play a little with other kids and always she makes funny faces :)

Meanwhile sun arrives and goes away many times, clouds come and go away, wind come and goes away, it is really a strange week but we try to amuse at our best even if the period is not nice.

Always giving an eye on Momochan I profit of the situation to collect other shells, I want to take home some to make some decorations and invent with her games.

This is my first holiday with Momochan without her dad, he is working hard in Sardinia int his moment and he is not at home so we have the opportunity to be here seaside and, even time time is not at the best, it is always an adventure for Momo and the opportunity to discover something new :)

Really I must say the hotel is not as I thought, I had made the reservation on line and choosed it because it costed fewbut as I arrived here with my little daughter I discovered that what has been promised was totally different from reality.

Sometimes a little sadness comes because of the services offered but then I give a look at my baby and have a smile, I want Momochan to remember the best from this little vacation with mommy, the sand, the sea, the games on the beach, the baby dance in the morning, the laughs, not the ugly food at the restaurant and the scarce services in the hotel.

 

Around 15.00 PM water srts to come up (see the foto the chaise longue of the firt tile ?) so we decide to go away, Momo can have her nap and I can relax a little reading a book before dinner.

beach again

Today we are on the beach again even thought is really a bad day, we are not lucky with our vacations this year :(

Momochan amuses to play on the shore with her baskets and shapers while I collect a tons of shell and fill in a bag.

There is nobody on the beach and around 11.40 it start to rain ! GOSH ! :(( Momochan and I take all our things and run towards the coffee shop and as it is cold I wrap Momo with the towel and take something to eat.

As soon as rain has stopped a little,we take all our things and run quickly towards the hotel. The coffee corner owner has said us that this week, weather will be often rainy and awful !!! damned ! this is the week I paid to have holiday, next week we will be home ! :(( Anyway, there is nothing to do, arrived at the hotel, we get into our room and Momochan prepares to go eating at the restaurant, we have shower, then I put cream on her body and her dress and out we are in the lift.

While we wait for food Momochan plays and makes funny faces, I ordered a soup for her and as soon as it arrives she fills it with grissini !!! HAHAHA I have ordered ham and after for dessert she can choose ice cream.

After lunch as it not nice to go on the beach we decide to take the bicycle once more and go in the town to see shops and find some place to get a newspaper and a new book for Momochan. 

The center of the town is cute and there are a thousand shops and coffee corner, places where to sit and hear the music while eating something, libraries and oter stores.

We stay until dinner time and when it comes a little darker we jump on the bicycle and we get at the hotel for dinner time.
On vacation timetable is strange because we get up early in morning and we go sleeping early but after dinner Momochan is always so tired that often she falls asleep while watching her preferred cartoons on tv so I have just to put the light off and cover her with the blankets. Good night little Momochan :)

Cattolica aquarium

The following morning after our arrival weather is absolutely unsuitable to go on the beach so I ask Momochan if she wants to go to see Cattolica Aquarium as I know she loves fishes so much and she enthusiastic gives her approval :)
Cattolica Aquarium is a big acquarium not so far from where we are, full of pools with every kind of fishes and sharks and there is also (like in Genova Acquarium) a special pool for kids where they can touch fishes, it is ful of little mantas and water is just 30 cm deep so kids can put their hands inside and reach the animals. From the hotel where we are now is 60 km, one hour travel, everything goes ok until we arrive, before I can park the car Momichan throws up !!! GOSH !!! her dresses, car seat and pelouche get all dirty !!! what a mess and poor baby !!! Poor me too, because I do not have a change for her except a nappy, so I clean her the best I can with paper towels, I close the car and we direct 400 meters in the nearby where there are some shops, in one of them selling swimming items and toys, I find a cute Hello Kitty pink t-shirt and a nice pair of pants. Coming back to the car there is an hotel so we get inside and I ask the clerk if I can use the bathroom. Luckily Momichan is little enough to be washed inside the sink and there is paper enough to dry her.

I normally carry a bag with a complete change, nappies and towels, bottle and everything but recently I thought she was big enough to stay half a day without taking all with us also at home we have gone many places without taking a change of dress with us and is not just luck, it was just unlunck today but anyway she has gained a new Hello Kitty shirt and she was very happy.

Entering the acquarium zone is something like a big open space with four main buildings, in the middle of the space there is a coffee place, a restaurant, a small pond and garden where ducks go free around. We saw sharks, turtles, mantas, jelly fish, tropical fishes and much more. Momochan was enthusiastic about that, I guess what she likes most is sea animals, she never say "no" when we propose to go acquarium :)

At noon it would have been time for lunch but we were not much hungry so we went to the coffee shop, I bought a coffee for me and Hello Kitty ice cream for Momo and we went eating outside looking at the ducks: there were many small ones, soft and yellow which Momochan likes a lot. Suddendly started to rain so hard we had to enter the coffee shop and wait until rain stopped 20 minutes later. We already had visited everything so we decided to come "home" and on the way back we stopped to visit Ikea Rimini. Momochan played and amused so much, I discovered some new products (powders for washing dresses which in our town were not yet on sell) which I bought for home and also I got a new pelouche for Momochan to play at the hotel.
We arrived back at the hotel in the evening just in time to eat dinner. Momichan had fallen asleep during the trip and continued sleeping, in the meantime I washed her dresses and car seat, after I tried to wake her up to go downstairs to the hotel restaurant to eat dinner but she wanted to sleep so I left her in her little bed, lighted the baby phone closed the door with key and went down to eat.
She slept all the time until I came upstairs 25 minutes later ^^
