Hello Kitty Shaped Pasta

Some time ago for the Japan Italy fair we found a company called MI FOOD SRL who has a branch in Milan and another in Hong Kong and sell Hello Kitty food products. The stupid thing is that they do not sell anything in Italy, just abroad and Milan is my city !!! on the catalogue seemed there was a shop or something but when I called them they confirmed they do not sell anything here !!!

My baby Momichan is totally crazy about Hello Kitty and we wanted so much to buy some Kitty shaped pasta for her, but when we realize it was not possible we stay very bad and my baby who a few moments earlier was looking at the Kitty food cataloge, started to weep and say I am a bad mum because cannot buy her Kitty pasta !

Well, maybe I am stupid but tears cameto my eyes and I felt so angry with that italian society !!! what the hell are they distributing catalogues so that people like us thinks it can be possible to have and on the contrary it is not ???? GRRRRR

Today I wrote to the Hong Kong branch and ask if they can, we will see what they will answer me by email ^_^

Chinese Food

Today wee went to chinatown for shopping and we bought some new food. We found a new food store who incredibly sells japanese sweet potatoes, you know ? the ones violet in colour which normally you cannot find. You can see in the foto the products we bought: violet sweet potatoes, chinese cabbage, chinese pasta, meat gyoza and bunny bread filled with azuki YUM YUM

We cooked the various foods, we added some more veggies for Momichan who was totally excited about the bunnies ^^

Hello Kitty bento box

Recently I found on an italian site a million items of Hello Kitty including this cute bento box and bottle.
Do not know how much big it is but super is the bottle can be stacked on the cover, don't you find is supercute ? ^_^

Hipp Germany

Do you know Hipp baby food ? I am using since Momichan was 6 months old, they have a ton of good products starting from different foods, menus, tea, flakes, milk some gadgets, bottles, and much more.

Now Momichan is 2 years old we are starting to buy flakes, prices are the same of the ones here in the supermarket but theese flakes are tastier and packaings are funny, there is choko flakes, honey flakes and mixed ones and if you want you can also find othe types of muesly for bigger kids or adults ^^

Our Life In 35 Square Meters

I guess so many people and families live in small spaces but sure we have never imagined we would have lived there having a nice house and all we needed.
Someone would say "thanks God there's Ikea" because luckily in the old catalogues there are tons of ideas to arrange a small house and prices are very low.

We sold every furniture we had in the old normal house to buy new ones to be adapted to the new tiny living space .... house .... well "house" I guess is a big word, I always see it as our old bedrooms and now it pretends to be a small apartment for three people, BAH ...

We started with the things absolutely necessary like buying new furniture for the bathroom too old and ruined to be still used for a new family with a small kid, so we decided to install a bathtub instead of the old shower, then we had to fix up the wall where we would have placed the kitchen and buy the basic furniture.

As you see kitchen is still open and bathroom still lacks of a wash/drying mashine, space is ridiculous but we manage to stay the best possible ^_^
We found place nearly for everything we have now, kitchen is not so small in the end, 3 meters long, oven, dishwasher, cooktop, microwave (all taken from the old house) and fridge, space for dishes and glasses, small place for foods, pasta, small items such as rice cookers, coffe machine, a place for pots and pans, spices and breackfast foods, place for Momoko dishes, glasses, bottles.

In the small bedroom we just added Momichan's bed, the chair and the closet, there is not space for anything else. For X'mas period we needed more space so we closed the sofa in the living room and started to use the single bed in the small bedroom for Sampei so Momichan is not alone for the night. I am sleeping on the sofa or on the ground in the bedroom with the rest of the family.

The livingroom has a big sofa, an unfinished tv set, a small library.
Sometimes when Momichan is sleeping int ehafertnoon for her usual nap I sit at the table and connect pc or have a mug of nescafè and look around. Today all around is grey, no sun but rain, humid and cold ... we are lucky to be inside warm, with soft blankets, hot cup in the hand, toys, tv, food and what we need.
I do not have any ideas on how we will manage this new year, I cannot imagine to live here in this small space and see Momichan come back home from school and do her homeworks on this table while I am doing laundries or read a book on the sofa, life in Italy has become really impossible and since we lost our house we have never been quiet again. The future of my child is still undefined, I cannot do any project but the only thing I am sure is that I do not want Momichan to live like that, I want to give her best opportunities, maybe a miracle will come ?
