new slider in the park !!!

This morning as I left Momochan to kindergarden I took a walk to the center of the town and noticed something in the park: someone was changing the old slider castle with a new one !!! WOW

Two men payid from the Townhall were putting dow a new gummy pavement under a new fantastic castle with two sliders (one for small kids and the other for bigger)

new balance ....

A month ago we have made a petition for the Townhall because the kids park is totally ruined and balances for kids were lacking.
Yesterday we go as every day after kindergarden and we see a new balance seat for small kids !!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEE

Momichan and babies finally can go again and amuse like the bigger one :)
Here is Momichan happy again on the balance :) (she is wearing her herlmet because we have come to the park with the bicycle and she never want to take helmet off until she returns home again :)

ducks :)

Since so much time we have not seen any ducks at the park, today as we were playing on the slider someone called to say there were two ducklings peacefoully sunbathing along the water so we went to see :)

Two little brothers apparently the age of one month, were taking a rest while every kid of the park was running to see them and Momichan too, pity it was we didn't have anything to give them but I guess we will take from now on a camera to make best fotos (with the zoom I could have made best images) and some bread or cookies.

Momichan loves the ducks, it is the first animal she saw since she was small and every spring we go to search for the new born ducklings and since now we haven't seen any except for theese two which are already grown up a little :)

male/female toys

When I was a kid my mum let me play with what ever I wanted, I had Lego cubes and Barbie dolls, little cars, and Cicciobello but also toys normally bought for male kids like swords, guns, robots and so on. I do not like to teach Momichan the difference between games and toys for females and males, I do not want her to have limits of this kind, I'd just like she can choose between what she really like not depending if it is something for male or not I just told her there are amusing and boring toys and games, so as this morning as I was at a superstore looking around while waiting my pc to be fixed up (it had a fastidious virus) I gave a look around at the book and toy section.
I found two new little books she was missing, Mulan and Stich (she has about 26 little books like this, Aristocats, Cinderella, Peter Pan ... and she loves to give a look and read before going to bed or take them in her sack when we go somewhere with the car), I also found a small blue car and I thought it would have been cute to play with inside the park.

As I reached Momichan in the kindergarden she quickly gave a look inside my sac and saw the little car, she gave a big smile and say "thankee mommyyyyy" :) we went to the park and she started to play everywhere, she never left the small car neither to go on the balance or the slider and when we came back home and I changed her to go to bed after dinner she wanted to keep it :) guess no other toy ever was much appreciated :) though she has two soft Ikea dolls and accessories (one japanese and the other black), little wooden trains, Lego block, many books, pelouches and more :)

climbing the tree ...

As every day as soon as we get out the kindergarden Momichan and I go to the nearest park to play. Days are sunny recently and really hot and inside the park there are nearly all the kids of the kindergarden and the backside elementary school :) the result is the park is totally full but the kids does not have much to play: the slider is not secure because needs reparation, balances are half of the necessary, 2 instead of 4 one of which was for baby kids 7 month old, other attractions are too old and in bad conditions to be used. The only thing are the balances but how can you do 50 kids and just 2 balances ???? the Major doesn't say a single word on that, we (mums of the kindergarden) are trying to get many signatures in a petition to take to Townhall but we think it will not be useful, Major says "we have not money enough" but nonetheless they have spent 980000,00 euros to do a cycle track we did not need (but practically no cycle track have been done, just old sidewalk have been asphalted again but the cost is not 980000,00 euros !!!), this public administration is literally throwing away million of euros (saying they have not !!!) for idiot things we do not need, parks are a disaster, schools are the same, public green ... well is better not to talk about ... everything is going completely ruined and Major is doing nothing, at this point I have to say the park where we go is in the center of the town, like if we were in Milano, the park wuld be Duomo plaza, but the urban decline is really terrible !

The result of all the situation is that kids try to amuse not always in the convention way, Momichan was simply coping some kids of her class climbing a tree !!! it was not really dangerous because she was just at 10 cm from the ground but the tree was not happy at all to feel all the tiny feet trample on it :), iside the park the cannot go with the bikes, but ousite on the sidewalks is even more dangerous, the cannot play with the ball or skate, practically they can do nothing except use the attractions which are broken ........................... !!! no other place to go from 16.00 PM on, if you do not have a car like the major part of the parents here, the only thing we could is run or play hide and seek (not many places to hide really !) and have a giant strawberry ice cream !!! HAHAHA in our preferred coffee shop today ice creams have come out :) and Momichan was the first to eat one :) YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
