Peppa Pig present :)

Momichan loves Peppa Pig, in Italy we can follow her adventures everyday on Rai YoYo in the evening with three episodes or at midday (I record them because Mom is in kindergarden) with five episodes.
Recently in the post office and at our local supermarked I have found three new titles, a sound book, two new adventures and sticker book and play book.
Momichan is so enchanted that I bought them all :) I think theese are good books and Momichan can easily understand what Peppa does is the same every kid of her age can do.
Up till now we have four stories, a bigger book that sounds and three activity books, pity is that Giunti Kids produces just two adventures a year !!!
In 2011 we had bought "La fatina dei dentini" (the fairy of the teeth) and "Festa in maschera" (masqued party), in 2012 we have discovered "Una gita nel bosco" (a trip inside the wood) and "L'armadio dei giocattoli" (the wadrobe for toys).
All the stories are old episodes shown on tv last year, I wonder if hey want to produce only two books a year or they want to increase because if we know there are 52 new episodes I guess at least they can produce fourty books so that a kid can have his own little Peppa Pig library and give a look at the book every time he wants; we cannot see often the old episodes because I have a little problem with the memory of the pc and it continually blocks if I show Momichan an episode even if they are very short so the best for her is see on tv in the evening and after look at the book but as I said we do not have all the books because they have not yed been produced HAHAHA :)
A happy sourprise however has been the other day in the supermarket to find (just two copies so I had to buy before loosing) a bigger book titled "A Peppa Pig piace ..." (Peppa Pig likes ...) which sound whenever you push the red button in front, it makes a funny laugh of Peppa, inside it shows what Peppa likes, going seaside with family, going dance class with her friends and much more :)
Last year I found an activity book "Colora con Peppa Pig" (right side foto)which I bought in two copies and fotocopied variuous times so that Momichan can colour the images various times everytime differently and we have always the original book to make other copies :)
Recently always inside our local supermarket I have found other two activity books, with stickers, games and other things to do.
Nice sourprise to find was the same books inside the post office book corner with a lower cost so I bought them in two copies each :)
The first book is "Gli attacca e stacca" (foto on the left) a sticker book you can put wherever you want inside the book and create your own Peppa story, it also has many games to do in which you have to think and choose options or easy labirinth or games where you have to mach images.
The other book is titled "Gioca con Peppa Pig" (play with Peppa Pig) has activity games, and other stickers.
Momichan got literally crazy for that (she loves stickers) and she always plays with them, when we make a short tripi she takes them with and at home she always gives a look and changes place at the stickers inside :)

male/female toys

When I was a kid my mum let me play with what ever I wanted, I had Lego cubes and Barbie dolls, little cars, and Cicciobello but also toys normally bought for male kids like swords, guns, robots and so on. I do not like to teach Momichan the difference between games and toys for females and males, I do not want her to have limits of this kind, I'd just like she can choose between what she really like not depending if it is something for male or not I just told her there are amusing and boring toys and games, so as this morning as I was at a superstore looking around while waiting my pc to be fixed up (it had a fastidious virus) I gave a look around at the book and toy section.
I found two new little books she was missing, Mulan and Stich (she has about 26 little books like this, Aristocats, Cinderella, Peter Pan ... and she loves to give a look and read before going to bed or take them in her sack when we go somewhere with the car), I also found a small blue car and I thought it would have been cute to play with inside the park.

As I reached Momichan in the kindergarden she quickly gave a look inside my sac and saw the little car, she gave a big smile and say "thankee mommyyyyy" :) we went to the park and she started to play everywhere, she never left the small car neither to go on the balance or the slider and when we came back home and I changed her to go to bed after dinner she wanted to keep it :) guess no other toy ever was much appreciated :) though she has two soft Ikea dolls and accessories (one japanese and the other black), little wooden trains, Lego block, many books, pelouches and more :)

library

This morning I went to the public library (yessss we do have a public library with a kid corner HAHAHA seems strange but we have) and took some books for Momichan.

One of theese is "Attenti alla casa stregata" related to the Halloween night, the other is a book of Richard Scarry. When i saw it I decided to take, it was my prefered book when I was little and somewhere inmum's house I still should have, we will have to search for it.

Richard Scarry was an american writer, he has written more than 300 books for kids but I guess the one everybody knows about is "The fantastic world of Richard Scarry" about a little town inhabited by various characters named Busytown (in Italy is called "Sgobbonia").

Recently his characters are on a popular tv cartoon on the air on Rai YoYo.

One of the most popular characters is Zigo Zago, a funny worm, he usually wears tyrolean hat and a shoe on the end of his tail. His best friend is Hucke Cat (in Italy Sandrino) who has a little sister called Sally. Zigo Zago drives and apple shaped car, Huckle Cat has a normal red car and Sally has a scooter.
The Cat father has a little supermarket and the kids love to solve the various misteries which happens inside their little town. They always solve them togather with Zigo Zago and most of the time with the two Pig brothers Pig Will and Pig Won't who always quarrel for everything, everyone wants to help solve cases but they are not intelligent as much as Huckle to understand and collect proofs so most of the times the make disasters :) Sally instead is very helpful to her brother and amuses so much togather with the worm Zigo Zago to discover what is going on in town.

(Hilda Hippo, Sally and Hucke Cat, Zigo Zago, Pig Will and Pig Won't)

Other characters are Sergeant Murphy (sergente Multa) a cocker spaniel motorcyclist policeman, Gorilla Banana, Hilda Hippo, mr Fixit, a fox who repares everything, mrs Honey, a bear teacher in the school, doctor Lion, Pig Will and Pig Won't, two pig brothers who drive a sausage car and are friends of Huckle Cat and Sally.

Peppa Pig, Pingu, do you know ?

Do you know Peppa Pig and her family ?
(if you want to see the videos just click here ^^)
My little Momichan is crazy about that, I recently found a collection of books and I am waiting end of the month to have the possibility to order a couple for her. I also look at it, in Italy you can see Peppa on Rai YoYo many times a day, if you loose some cartoons they will be repeated so you cannot miss ^^
Another cartoon momichan loves is Pingu, I know, in Japn is common but here I discovered just recently ^___^ Pingu and baby Pinga mum and dad live in North Pole I guess and they have many adventures, I discovered Pingu books in Prenatal stores and bought one the other day for Momi, now she sits in front of tv watching Pingu holding the book in her hands ^^

What mothers do not say (book)

Recently I found in a store a little book I read in just two nights, telling about the adventure of a 27 year old girl discovering herself to be pregnant and the decision to keep the baby she later nicknames "Polpetta" and after "Porpi" (meatball).
The book is written in italian and the ideaq to write it comes from a blog of the author named "Ma Che, Davvero ?", that means "is it real ?" this sentence is exactly what the author says when she discovers to be pregnant).
All the book is the adventure of this 27 year old girl, Chiara, until now, everything she thinks, the relation with her daughter, her discoverings and thoughts about becoming mother all written in a funny way but exactly the truth about what reality is living with a baby and what normally mothers do not tell anybody (everytime you ask a mother about her child she will always tell her baby is a good one, he always sleep, eats and do everything the right way also when in relauty is not).
I adore this book and hope it can be translated into english or other languages so that many other can read it :)
