Park

Momichan loves to go to the park and now there is much light until 8.00 PM we have much time to go on the sliders and balance ^^ As it is hot Momichan does not wear coat anymore and is free to move without gloves and hat everywhere, kiddies have small bikes and sometimes they lend to Momichan and play togather or she involves them to play ball with her or they run everywhere shouting and laughing ^^

Soffioni and flowers

Momichan is crazy for "soffioni", a kind of herb that normally is given to ducks togather with mais flour but that someone eats as salad (is a little bitter), this herb has soft yellow flowers that change into super soft cotton like white balls you can blew away. Everywhere Momichan sees one she takes is and blows and most of the times we blow them togather ^___^ Another plant we like is the iris, it can be lilac, yellow, white, purple, pink and has a sweet smell, along the streets we have many around in town and Momichan smells all of them HEHE ^^

Peppa Pig, Pingu, do you know ?

My little Momichan is crazy about that, I recently found a collection of books and I am waiting end of the month to have the possibility to order a couple for her. I also look at it, in Italy you can see Peppa on Rai YoYo many times a day, if you loose some cartoons they will be repeated so you cannot miss ^^
Another cartoon momichan loves is Pingu, I know, in Japn is common but here I discovered just recently ^___^ Pingu and baby Pinga mum and dad live in North Pole I guess and they have many adventures, I discovered Pingu books in Prenatal stores and bought one the other day for Momi, now she sits in front of tv watching Pingu holding the book in her hands ^^

Easter present for Momichan

I visited Ikea the other day and noticed a ton of new gadgets and toys, among which there is the collection CIRCUS with rattles, music boxes and more. I bought for Momichan this cute rabbit and gave her as present for Easter time, she amuses to see the rabbit going in and out and hear the soft music that helps her to sleep in the night.

I found also some other cute ideas, there is a set of three pelouches shaped veggies, broccoli, carrot and a strawberry and a book tellling the story of the same three characthers. It is a nice idea to promote the eating of the veggies in the children helping them to care about something.

Garden

My daddy's garden with the big stone in the middle, when I was a kid I used to climb upon it and figure out it was an elephant taking me somewhere ^____^ Momichan likes to turn around it and clean from leaves the flowers, look at the bees around and lizards that take sun and run everywhere as she comes near ^^

Easter sourprise ...

Today in kindergarden Momichan received from a mate a Easter sourprise: inside a little easter bag decorated with eggs and bunnies, Momichan found a little pelouche, a cutie duck that you can press the belly and makes "quack" and some chokolates.

She was really happy and for the first time she said all by herself "thankee" to the kid who gave her the present ^^

She looked at me smiling and said "mamma guadda, tatato tantiiiii" !!! (that means, "mommy look, chokolate... so manyyyyyy")

New teeth !!!

Momichan is now 2 years 4 months and 5 days old. This morning as ever I was washing her the teeth and noticed that both sides in the lower part of her mouth were coming up two new big teeth !!! WEEEEEEEEEEE
When I said her to show the new teeth to daddy and granny she smiled happily and runned towards them saying "papa, nonna, guadda denti tanti !" (that means daddy granny look, teeth many !) She was so funny and sweet !!!

Easter time

Happy Easter time everybody !
In a few days we will start to prepare the Easter Tree, I have to find a suitable piece of wood and we will decorfate it with flowers, small eggs and chicks, Momichan will enjoy so much HEHE

New Teeth !!!

Momichan is now 2 years 4 months and 5 days old.
This morning as ever I was washing her teeth when I noticed two new teeth growing up in the lower side of her mouth back side, molars, now Momichan has 18 teeth !
When I said her to tell daddy and granny about, she smiled happily and shouting she runned towards them and said "papà, nonna guadda ! denti tanti !!!" (that means: daddy, granny, look, theet many ! she stil doesn't speack correctly and is really funny and sweet) ^^
She is really lovely and is a very good girl ^^

Springtime

First day of spring WEEEEEEEEEE

Our garden is starting to awake and first flowers decorate every corner, Momichan is enthusiast and jumps here and there touching the flowers and smiling at their colours.

The Guardian ...

Momichan laughs at the granpa guardian we have at the entrance home.

Every day goig to kindergarden she says "hello" to granny and when she reaches the stone lion (you see in the foto behind her) she says "hello" to grandpa and send a kiss too ^^

Grandpa is buried inside the base of the Thailand lion and protect our home, Momichan has never met her grandpa, disappeared three years before her birth but she has seen his fotos everywhere at home and has heard so many things about him so she is happy to send him kisses and say hello whenever she sees the lion guardian ^^

Hello Kitty Easter Eggs

Today is raining, as everyday I take Momichan to kindergarden and come back home for cleanings and other but this morning I went with a friend to the local supermarket and found some cute little Hello Kitty choko eggs. I bought to give Momichan as present to make her happy because today we cannot go out playing at the park.

Momichan appreciated so much and for the first time she gave me a kiss and said "thankee mummy" without I even asked for ^^

Sleeping time

Sleeping time now, Momichan is waiting her milk bottle to be warm (bottle is in the microwave) and she amuses joking and laughing in the meantime.

Onigiri !!!!

This evening for dinner I made onigiri.

Well, actually the rice was not suitable, did not stiched enough so the onigiri distroyed easily but anywas Momichan appreciated and amused eating them, I made six, three filled with cheese and three filled with salmon I cooked with a little butter in a pan and crumbled into small pieces.

Going to the Center ...

As it is a sunny day and Momichan-s daddy is free from work today we decide to take Momichan to the center of Milan and show her the public Acquarium, she loves fishes.
The Acquarium is near the Castello Sforzesco and in front of the Castle there is an enormous fountain visited by many tourist and of which Momichan is really crazy (last summer she wanted to make a walk inside !)

Inside the Aquarium you can see many fishes, sharks, shells, sea urchins, jelly fish, crabs and much more, there is also a basin you can walk under and see fishes over your head.

Momichan was running from a basin to another pointing at the fishes totally enchanted.

Most of the fishes are from the sea but some of the basins contain also lake fishes most of which edible (temoli).

Carnevale

In Italy this week is Carnival time and every kid is masquerade pretending to be some cartoon hero or some fantasy charachter, we have special sweets and there are many events in the cities.
Today we were around Milan and we had the occasion to take Momichan to a funny representation, under a tent someone had made a forest with funny animals, fairies, speaking trees and magic charachters, kid sat down on the ground, a fairy/girl told a story and at the end a magic animated tree gave as present to the kids many coriandoli.

Momichan was enchanted, when we got out the magic forest there was (you see in the upper foto) a .... well I do not know how to say, anyway, you can see where Momichan is standing with daddy, they could throw up coriandoli that instead of falling down started to fly high rising 20 meters, it was somethin g like it was snowing HEHE, Momichan was about that, she enjoyed so much.

Mamma Atte Ando Ancora !

When Momichan comes back home from kindergarden plays a little while we eat lunch, as soon as we have finished I puther to bed for the nap and normally she awakes by herself in a couple of hours, sometimes recently she sleeps more.
Before going to bed she wants her milk bottle and her usual request is: "mamma atte ando ancora" (mommy, milk hot more, that means mommy I want more hot milk) she is so funny when she says and so sweet ^___^

Feelings ...

In Milan is a sunny day today and pretty hot, 14° degrees, WOW !
This morning fter having taken Momichan to kindergarden, I have gone searching a new house. My mom seems to have the serius idea to sell her big house and she says she can help us to buy a new house all for us ! WOW I am electrified, happy, enchanted ! The first sensation has been sadness because I love her house and I am feeling good even if in 35 square meters but the house cost to much, we have too many expences and we cannot afford any more, so she said about this possibility.
As I said this morning I went looking around and I found a possibility, maybe ... I have to receive a phone call for price and availability for the apartment I have seen: 84 meters, two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room with kitchen in a corner, a large storage room and a big terrace, second floor, equippe with enormous windows wich let in the living room and the two bedrooms a large amount of light let inside. Momichan would have her private room to have all her toys and cabinet, a big bed and place for all her toys and things, we would have again a bed to sleep inside and a corner to have the little Momi bed in case she want still to sleep with us in the night, kitchen inside livingroom would allow me to cook without loosing anything of my favourite film in the evening, terrace/balcony would allow us to have freinds in the summer and eat outside, Momichan would have possibility to play ouside and have her small tricycle and run around, oh, it is really wonderful, I had forgotten the sensation searching for a new house, I am feeling excited !
Please let me dream a few minutes ^____^
Surely it will cost too much for us or eventually it will be already be sold but anyway we will find something cute somewhere here, a new house for us all payd will allow us to live decently without beeing strangled every month for the eXXXpences we have now, even if it is said to think my parents house will be sold and enlarged and someone else will live inside instead of us, my father builted the house and we have always lived here but anyway we have now to think at my baby and mum has seriusly to think at her future, we cannot live like now any more.
I guess my baby would get crazy seeing the new house and realize to have a bedroom on her own to have her toys and her big bed and have the possibility to run again where she wants, we would be happy .... I have to think of my baby, what kind of life can I give her staying in my parents house and not having money for nothing ?

There is an other possibility .... maybe ....
In this moment downstairs mom is specking again with the people who want to buy our house, there may be a possibility to stay here and be comfortable and happy and most of all keep at least a small part of daddy's home .... instead of having money we can have two small apartments !
The thing is a little incredible but theese people do want this piece of earth so much to build a series of little cute homes that they have proposed us this solution.
They would transform this house I guess in six apartments and give us two, the best thing would be we would have a house completely new with central eating that means no more problems for the boiler because there would be a central boiler for all the apartments and in case of break all the apartments would pay, mommy would have a small part of garden so she would keep the plants and trees she wants and also she would have less space than now to care of, we would have an entirely new house with the two rooms we need !!! WOW !!! But most of all we would keep daddy's house and we would have a totally paid house nobody ever would take away ^___^ I really hope we can do this !

Minnie backpack

Inside kindergarden one of Momichan schoolfriends has a Minnie backpack ... you can imagine she was looking the backpack eagerly with the classic face "mommy-can-I-have ?"I alredey knew where to buy because I had gone the same shop to buy her shoes and in that occasion I saw the new items arrived between which there was the Minnie backpack so as this period Momichan is really a good baby I said her I would go and buy as a present meantime she was inside kindergarden and so I did. When I came back at 12.30 with the backpack she made an immense smile and once home she started to prepare it for the day after telling meanwhile what she was putting inside .... "miao" (her cat), "panti belli bu" (guanti belli blu, means beautiful blue gloves), "bibo" (libro, means book) and "apua" (acqua means water).In nthe morning I add a bottle with fruit juice or choko milk or drinkable yogurt so as we arrive at the bar near the kindergarden, I can drink my coffee and Momichan has her personal drink, not really breakfast because she already has fruits at 9.30 at kindergarden. Sometimes we buy the Jewlpets, (it is a envelope containing a tiny sourprise which can be a little pet, cat, piggy,dog you can carry at your wrist or attached to the hair or a pendant for cell phone) or a Kitty magic colour album and Momichan obviously is totally happy ^^

Carousel !

As every year more or less in this period, carousel has arrived and Momichan is the happiest baby ever ! Carousel will stay here until end of february so Momichan will have many occasion to go during the afternoons.

Hello Kitty Shaped Pasta

Some time ago for the Japan Italy fair we found a company called MI FOOD SRL who has a branch in Milan and another in Hong Kong and sell Hello Kitty food products. The stupid thing is that they do not sell anything in Italy, just abroad and Milan is my city !!! on the catalogue seemed there was a shop or something but when I called them they confirmed they do not sell anything here !!!

My baby Momichan is totally crazy about Hello Kitty and we wanted so much to buy some Kitty shaped pasta for her, but when we realize it was not possible we stay very bad and my baby who a few moments earlier was looking at the Kitty food cataloge, started to weep and say I am a bad mum because cannot buy her Kitty pasta !

Well, maybe I am stupid but tears cameto my eyes and I felt so angry with that italian society !!! what the hell are they distributing catalogues so that people like us thinks it can be possible to have and on the contrary it is not ???? GRRRRR

Today I wrote to the Hong Kong branch and ask if they can, we will see what they will answer me by email ^_^

Chinese Food

Today wee went to chinatown for shopping and we bought some new food. We found a new food store who incredibly sells japanese sweet potatoes, you know ? the ones violet in colour which normally you cannot find. You can see in the foto the products we bought: violet sweet potatoes, chinese cabbage, chinese pasta, meat gyoza and bunny bread filled with azuki YUM YUM

We cooked the various foods, we added some more veggies for Momichan who was totally excited about the bunnies ^^

Hello Kitty bento box

Recently I found on an italian site a million items of Hello Kitty including this cute bento box and bottle.
Do not know how much big it is but super is the bottle can be stacked on the cover, don't you find is supercute ? ^_^

Hipp Germany

Do you know Hipp baby food ? I am using since Momichan was 6 months old, they have a ton of good products starting from different foods, menus, tea, flakes, milk some gadgets, bottles, and much more.

Now Momichan is 2 years old we are starting to buy flakes, prices are the same of the ones here in the supermarket but theese flakes are tastier and packaings are funny, there is choko flakes, honey flakes and mixed ones and if you want you can also find othe types of muesly for bigger kids or adults ^^

Our Life In 35 Square Meters

I guess so many people and families live in small spaces but sure we have never imagined we would have lived there having a nice house and all we needed.
Someone would say "thanks God there's Ikea" because luckily in the old catalogues there are tons of ideas to arrange a small house and prices are very low.

We sold every furniture we had in the old normal house to buy new ones to be adapted to the new tiny living space .... house .... well "house" I guess is a big word, I always see it as our old bedrooms and now it pretends to be a small apartment for three people, BAH ...

We started with the things absolutely necessary like buying new furniture for the bathroom too old and ruined to be still used for a new family with a small kid, so we decided to install a bathtub instead of the old shower, then we had to fix up the wall where we would have placed the kitchen and buy the basic furniture.

As you see kitchen is still open and bathroom still lacks of a wash/drying mashine, space is ridiculous but we manage to stay the best possible ^_^
We found place nearly for everything we have now, kitchen is not so small in the end, 3 meters long, oven, dishwasher, cooktop, microwave (all taken from the old house) and fridge, space for dishes and glasses, small place for foods, pasta, small items such as rice cookers, coffe machine, a place for pots and pans, spices and breackfast foods, place for Momoko dishes, glasses, bottles.

In the small bedroom we just added Momichan's bed, the chair and the closet, there is not space for anything else. For X'mas period we needed more space so we closed the sofa in the living room and started to use the single bed in the small bedroom for Sampei so Momichan is not alone for the night. I am sleeping on the sofa or on the ground in the bedroom with the rest of the family.

The livingroom has a big sofa, an unfinished tv set, a small library.
Sometimes when Momichan is sleeping int ehafertnoon for her usual nap I sit at the table and connect pc or have a mug of nescafè and look around. Today all around is grey, no sun but rain, humid and cold ... we are lucky to be inside warm, with soft blankets, hot cup in the hand, toys, tv, food and what we need.
I do not have any ideas on how we will manage this new year, I cannot imagine to live here in this small space and see Momichan come back home from school and do her homeworks on this table while I am doing laundries or read a book on the sofa, life in Italy has become really impossible and since we lost our house we have never been quiet again. The future of my child is still undefined, I cannot do any project but the only thing I am sure is that I do not want Momichan to live like that, I want to give her best opportunities, maybe a miracle will come ?
