Going Around With Mum

After the nap Momichan and I go out for a walk.
Today I am lucky, she was tired enough to take her usual nap, recently she doesn't want to sleep in the afternoon.
Temperature is around 28 degrees, Momichan is dressed light and she wears her orange sandals shoes, she always want to wear them guess she likes so much but I think is the worst purchase ever because they are so long and narrow.

Before going out she takes her Barbapapà sac and a speaking game.
(in Japan the cartoon series Barbapapà has a great success, バーバパパ 世界をまわる, Baabapapa sekai wo mawaru).

As it is so hot we go to a coffee shop to buy some ice cream and as you see from the fotos Momichan is enthuisiastic at the idea of going to take some ice even if when she has the ice in her hands she makes strange a nd funny faces and starts to eat.

After she has finished her ice cream we decide to go to the park, in this moment there are not so many children so Momichan can go everywhere she wants without waiting her turn and she amuses so much.

Knees ...

Momichan is running fast now but she is still not really good so sometimes she puts feet in the wrong way and she falls down. As theese days seems summer is finally coming and during the day is really hot, she wears fresh summer dresses that are short and leave her legs nude, the result is that if she fall down she scratches her knees, now Momichan has her first marks on both knees ^^

Full Day ....

Hello ^^
As you know we are starting to organize the moving to my mum's house but we have to face some problems, make some shopping for the new house and arrange everything.
This morning we had to go granny's house because our new bathtub was arriving, in the bathroom there is a shower now but we have to change to be more confortable, (first foto you can see Momichan at the departure from home this morning, second foto, she is walking in the street in front of granny's house). While waiting for the bathtub to be consigned we took some measurements for furniture and accessories and we discovered that our washmashine does not enter in the bathroom because the door is too narrow ........... ARRRGGGGHHH ! door is large 55 cm and washmashine is 59 !!!!! ......... we have to buy a new washmashine no other solution ..........

Weather is so hot today so I took with us some dress changes for Momichan so that she can play in granny's garden in absolut comfort.

After the bathtub has arrived, we prepare lunch and Momichan plays in the garden with daddy. After lunch daddy will go to work and Momi and I will go around for info-shopping, we have to go search a new washmashine, we need a wash and dryer one alltogather in less than 55 cm of space, there is a electronic store near us, mum says she has seen an announce on a publicity sheet about exactly the type we could buy, so we go there and after we have to go Ikea store to search for other items, check prices of ovens, fridge to be stored in a cabinet and microwaves. Momichan will play around in the kids corner as always and we will have a yummy snack :)

After our info-shopping we come back granny's house, it is still sunny althought is nearly seven thirty, Momichan can play in the garden a little while before returning home and I can have some rest, I am totally exausted while Momichan is full of energies :) but she has not take the nap as usual so she will be tired soon. Incredibly temperature is still around 30 degrees. Momichan is jumping here and there, running everywhere and playing with her cups and tools pretending to cook for an immaginary friend. The grass in the garden has been cut and she seems lo like as the garden look like now.

There is still light but already is eight o'clock so Momichan and I have to go home to prepare dinner, if everything goes the right way without too many bad sourprises, in less than one month we could be there and for dinner time I would just climb up the ladder to go .... home while my mum prepares dinner I would wash my baby and prepare for sleep ^^

Small Lady ...

Last week Momichn ad I went to the weekly outside market along the street at the center of the town, I discovered Momi likes it, she looks at the fruits and veggies of various colours and smells, she looks at the dresses and flowers, she gets crazy for the fishes and the seeds, she amuses herself so much ever :)

There was a man selling shirts and special scarves, I bought two, one azure flowered for me and one lilac for Momi. The scarf is strange, made of a transparent soft and thin piece of cotton, lilac in colour with flowers, I can transform it for my baby in whatever I want, scarf, tiny dress, turban, depends from my fantasy :)
The day I bought I wrapped a kind of hat on Momichan's head and she loved it, this time I just hanged it on her shoulders same way you can do when you are dressed to go out for a dance night in an elegant place and Momichan seems an elegant tiny lady :)

A Special Day, Corn Powder, Box And Fun ...

Today Momichan is exactly 18 months old, 1 year and a half ! YEEEEEEEEE

As it is a special day I decided to take her to the chinese restaurant, Momichan smiled happi8ly at the idea. I ordered some white rice, meat grilled gyoza, chicken with bamboo and mushrooms, chinese spaguetti with veggies and Momichan eated everything, chicken was tender and tasty, she loves white rice and the interior of gyoza, she just eats the filling HEHE, we used only chopsticks she is enchanted by sticks :)

After the meal I ordered a coffee for me and for her I cleaned her bottle from the rest of the juice that was still inside and made it be filled with milk (hoping she would take a nap after in her stroller but no, she was too enthusiastic by the sunny day ..... ).

We went to the park for a while and she amused herself so much then we went to my mum and I organized a new game for Momi. I had bought some days ago a transparent plastic box, 80 cm large and just 20 cm high, filled it with corn flour and some cups and put Momichan inside.

She went crazy, started to touch the flour and play with the cups pouring it everywhere smiling, then I told her that when people go to seaside they walk on the shore, shore is made of sand and has a different colour from the flour but mostly feeling is the same walking on it if sand is thin so I took her the shoes away and left her bare feet to let her walk over the flour, she amused so much and started to walk inside the box feeling the sensation of the bare feet of the flour, she was so funny ^^

then started to walk on the fresh grass of the garden shouting happily for the strange effect then she started to run around enthusiastic ^^

We played hide and seek and played with the soccer ball, ran everywhere in the garden and played with the flour. There was still light but it was already 19.40 so we said hallo to granny and we started to return home.
Momichan runned everywhere, seemed not tired at all but I knew she was because since a couple of week she is refusing to take the usual nap after lunch. As soon as we got home I prepared her dinner and she started to become a little nervous, she was tired :) I showered her, put a fresh nappie and pijama, gave her milk and put her to bed. I gave her her pelouche cat to hug, covered her with a soft blanket and gave her a kiss then went to make shower, just the time to wash and get dried, entering the bedroom and getting near her bed to see the has deeply fallen asleep exactly in the same position I left her a few minutes before :)
She is so sweet :)

New Kitchen Ikea ....

Ikea - Momichan is happily playing in a little representation of a tiny house, more or less the space we will have in short time, she loves this little space, for her is like a llittle doll house for her.
There is a living room-kitchen, an entrance, a bedroom and a bathroom

As you probably know, we are trying to move in a new house, my mum's house, upper floor, she doesn not uses it and she lives alone.
Things are going slow beacuse we need so many permissions and this takes time, for this reason we will have the possibility to enlarge the little house and have the kitchen only in october, that means we will stay all the summer without it but anyhow we are making plans on how it will be.
I decided, as the kitchen will be on a corner of the living room and will be only 3 meters long plus a little 90 cm, that it will be composed by 5 blocks of 60 cm plus a corner piece of 90 cm and the fridge, colour will be dark brown solid pine and except for a pair of particular, more or less our kitchen will be like this one :)

On the extreme left side they inserted a fridge, we will have the washmashine, fridge will be on the right side after the oven and between oven and fridge there will be a corner base cabinet with carousel for pots and pans.

All the upper cabinets will be 60 x 90cm except the one over the gas cooktop which will measure 60 x 70cm to hook the exaust hood and again the cabinet on the right side will be a corner one with carousel inside.

We will provide each drawer with protections for kids so as not to let Momichan open them by chance or purpose and other protections will be attached to the other doors. I will let the corner cabinet without so that Momichan will have possibility to look inside, our pots and pans are not dangerous and are similar to the ones she has to play :) she loves to look inside cabinets and help me emptying the wasmashine.

Rain Boots ...

In Milan is continuously raining so the best thing is to buy a pair of rain boots for Momichan, we do not have but is not a problem, for Momichan having feet dry and not submnerged by water is more important so we went to a superstore yesterday and bought the cutest pink water drop decorated pair of little gum rain boot :)

When Momichan saw them smiled happily and today she put on to go out as time was not so nice.

Momo eats fruits ;)

Momochan is just 1 year and a half more or less but at McDonalds she already eat fruits !
She loves kiwi ;) whenever we come here I always order a plain hamburger without salt, reduce it into small pices and give Momochan, after meat I always take some fruits.
It's amazing but Momochan so little is able to eat everything tasting here and there also our foods whenever possibile  (not spicy foods or things not suitable for her).

So Speedy Vip

The day before yesterday Momichan and I had a little accident with the previous stroller and completely distroyed the wheels, so we had to buy a new one.
Momichan and I went to the Prenatal store to see what we could boy and I felt in love witht the new So Speedy Vip, green and brown in colour and with all accessories included.
We just prepared the babybag with all necessary and we went by feet to take the bus.

This is a wonderful stroller, quite light, lower basket very spacious, rain cover included.
Momichan loves it, she is enchanted by the colour or the closing belts, she jumps on the stroller and sit happilu ready to go around so we bought it and we returned home with it.

New Bathroom

YEEEEEEEEEE !
finally we have bought the furniture for the new bathroom of the new house, there are still many problems and we cannot start the main works before 6 months because of some permissions so we will live in 35 meters, we will not have any kitchen for the moment and in the bedroom we will have little space, Momichan will have her bed, we will have to sleep on the floor on futon because there is not space enough for the bed and the wardrobe will be tiny but we will have bathroom complete with the new furniture and new bathtub (now there is a shower)

Guess it will be a new adventure and anyway there will be mum and we will eat alltogather so it doesn't really matter if we will have to wait a little to have a complete little house of 45 meters with the kitchen and a normal bedroom :)
We are so stressed recently that we really need a restart, you know when you feel completely like a pc with a virus that cannot work normally and is so slow ? we are feeling something like this and we really need a complete restart so that we can re invent our new life with little Momichan in a new house perfect for her even if little, something like cancel everything and rebuilt new, we know it will be allright, we will be all relaxed (in our present house there are too many problems and we want our baby be always smiling and happy like you see in this foto) and we will have possibility to grow Momichan better and maybe also redescover ourselves, not too bad isn't it ? :)

Ready To Go Out ...

This morning Momichan's daddy has to go  to ASL to withdraw some documents so we profitate of the occasion to go out and take a walk before lunch time.

As everytime we go out Momichan is totally happy, she is also enthusiastic the way I dressed her, she lookes herself in the mirror and smiles, so sweeeeeet :)

I put on a light jacket on Momi and her shoes and we go out to take the lift. Once ouside Momichan starts to run aroud smiling, she is curious about everything, she always looks at all the cars parked and smiles at everyone coming.

We have to go some places, pharmacy, dairy, supermarket and we also have a little time to go to the park, at this moment in the morning there are no kids around so Momichan have the balance all for her.
She jumps here and there smiling and shouting happily, she is so big now, last year at the park she was just 7 months and she was not able to do so many things, now she runs on the grass, laughs and jumps making so many funny faces :)

As you see from the fotos, she amuses herself so much and when I tell her that we have to go home to eat and that surely daddy is already there, she is so good child and she comes away quietly.

On the way she finds a moment to search in my baby bag and grabs a rice craker, she likes to crunch them while walking. We have to go to the kebab shop to take some kebab meat to eat at home with some white rice and while we are waiting Momichan seats at a table and looks around ^^

I pay and we go out the shop. Once home, daddy is already there and has prepared the white rice, Momichan hugs her dad and we go to the kitchen to make lunch ^^

Happy Easter !

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYBODY !

Yesterday we went to Genova and it was raining, today sun is shining again and there are no clouds in the whole sky. We are going to mum's house to have Easter Monday lunch and eat the eggs, mmm .... not really eggs as you can see from the foto .... we thought that every sourprise we could find in the egg would not be suitable for little Momichan so I found a special egg shaped farm animal containing a meuh box.

Momichan was enthusiast, she played with the new meuh box util nap time and guess she was dreaming a tons of fantastic things because she slept until 6.00 PM
She was not alone because her daddy was sleeping on the sofa and granny on the bed, I was the lonely one looking tv waiting for someone to awake to eat colomba and play in the garden.
Unluckily when finally Momo awakened it was too late to play in the garden because it was already getting cold so we stayed inside house having snacks and looking a film until dinner time when we got out to come back our home.

Genova Aquarium

Easter day, in Milan is raining hard.

As we have to visit mum for Easter lunch tomorrow (today is my sister turn) and we do not want to stay all day long at home because of the weather, we thought to take Momichan today to Genova Aquarium, anyway inside the building is not raining.

We arrive at the Aquarium at four o'clock, is still raining hard but despite rain, thousands of people are making long queue to enter and see the fishes. Finally we are also inside and the visit can start.
Momichan is excited, the first thing we see is the basin of Husar and Pepe two manatees (Trichecus Manatus), this is a recent novelty, they come from the Norimberga zoo, Husar is 11 year old, Pepe is only five. Their particularity is the tail similar to the one we imagine for mermaids.

There are many people, too many so we have to keep Momichan on our shoulders all the time to let her see the manatees and also because she could get easily lost.

After this the second basin and biggest one is the one containing sharks, bull shark, black fin, grey shark, saw shark and here also we find million people.
Momichan is so happy, she looks at the sharks enchanted (she has a big pelouche 120 cm from Ikea at home of a white shark with wich she always plays but she has never seen one alive up till now).
In the nearby there are other basins with coloured tropical fishes (Napoleon) and a big big turtle, Momi looks at the fishes tip tapping on the glass window indicating this and that fish shouting and smiling ^^

In another basin we can see little penguins, some of them are swimming, other stay on the rocks. We even see the Nile Crocodile ... you remember the song "how does the crocodile sound ?" and no one knows how does a crocodile sounds ? hehe Momichan asks theese crocodiles about, but they do not answer :) they go on sleeping or what ever they are doing.

This kind of croc can reach 7 meter length and 1 ton weight, fortunately theese are quite little, less than one meter long.

After long walking we need a rest, so many people make me nervous, I continuously have to search for my hubby and care about Momichan not escape too far, also look at the stroller containg all my belongings and Momichan items, after one hour I am completely stressed. With so many people is easy to loose a child or get stealed.
We decided to visit the souvenir shop, we let Momichan walk a little, she gets completely mad for some pelouches shaped animals, embraces a little soft grey penguin and we decide to buy her in remembering of this day. Here she is, embracing her new friend at the coffee shop we went afterward for a rest.

A particularity of Genova Aquarium is a special basin in which there are rays and trigonis and everyone can touch them, the animals are curious and if you are delicate you can easily touch them on the nose or parts of the body. Momichan get one of her sleeves completely wet and also tries to drink the salted water of the basin despite all my attempts to keep her dry. She has still short little arms so she is not able to reach the rays but she can see one passing by, very near.

A fish we are not able to see this time is the Moon Fish or Mola Mola, is a kind of disk with eyes and little fins that can reach 2 tons weight. In our visit in 2007 my hubby and I saw in the same basin of the sharks but this time, maybe because of the crowd, we did not found nowere.

At the end of the visit is alredy 7.30 PM, we have to go back home, the Aquarium is starting to close. Luckily rain has stopped for a little while so we can go out breathing the fresh air of the evening.

Near the Aquarium there is a giostra and Momi wants to get inside, we buy her three tickets and she starts to shout happily seated on a little plane.

We have to find something to eat for Momi because we will be home not before eleven and she cannot wait for dinner. Near the giostra, some "bancarelle di mercato" (something like this), are selling regional foods and sandwiches, we buy some roasted meat for Momi and a big hot dog for us and we go back to the car. As soon as we are inside starts raining again ! UFF !!!

Anyway we are hot enough, we are seated and we have some food, Momichan eats all and drinks her fruit tea from her bottle, we start the engine of the car and we go, after a while Momichan is already fallen asleep. Is 9.20 PM.

We arrive home around eleven, Momichan awakes totally for a while, just the time to make shower, change diaper, wear a soft pijama and go bed with a big milk bottle. Meanwhile little penguin pelouche is also taking a bath inside the washmashine but in short time he is clean and dry enough to jump inside bed with Momichan who embraces it touching his fur happily and embracing the penguin Momichan fall asleep.

Dream little Momi, dream about this special day we had and all the new animals, things and emotions we had.

A Spring Present For The Park

We were thinking since so much time to buy Momichan a tricycle, when we go out to the park or some other place, she always sees kids riding their small bikes and amusing so much, moving by themselves.
At the Centeario Park there are some tricycles but with the hot season and many kids around we could have some difficulties to find one free as all kids want to use so as this morning we were in the Decathlon store to search for some supplies for daddy, we found on special occasion for spring and low price some tricycles and accessories. As usual the ones for girls were pink, a colour we do not like so much, Momichan went straight to the one for boys red and blue so we bought this one ^^
She was so happy, we asked the man of the bicicles to assemble it and Momichan could ride her tricycle all around inside the shop, she is still not able to ride by herself but she seated while we pushed it shouting and laughing like a crazy ^^
In the afternoon after the nap, we went to the park using the new tricycle. Momichan was so happy, we also brought with us a small ball to play on the grass.

Momichan is so sweet, she tried to kick thy ball but she is still so little, mostly she just used hands, sometimes she dropped the ball to search some flowers and as soon as she found one she smelled and then gave to her daddy .... daddy ... a flower for you, keep ! ^^

Momichan today was really excited, played and played and played, laughed, smelled, runned. Luckily day was sunny enough even if not so hot, again new experiences for little Momi, she wants to experiment everything and see every place and literally she goes crazy every time she sees a garden in which she can run and walk.
