Today Momochan and I are goint to Ikea for the Treasure chest ;)

In the morning we are taking a walk with daddy around the town. I was giving a look at Momochan and realized how much she is different from the way I was, give a look to the fotos ;)
When I was a kid smartphone did not exist, the only phone I had was the copy of the normal landline phone everyone has at home connected with a cable that plugs into a wall outlet.
Now give a look at Momo, she holds in her hands a Peppa Pig toy phone, copy of a real smartphone, she pretends to choose a contact, dial and then speak with a natural easy way not common at my time HAHAHAHA

a special dress ...

A few days ago I went to my mum and while I was there she gave me something special to give Momichan: a couple of little dresses I was wearing when I was 3 years old !!!

She dubbed about Momichan wearing them but instead they are simply perfect, with a brown pants and a long light blue neck and sleeved shirt Momichan is so elegant, she said she loves wearing my things ^O^ well see the foto ? can you imagine this little brown dress is 40 years old ??? HAHAHA

I will not give away when Momi grows up, we will keep ^^

fiera dell'artigianato

Every year in december the first week of the month, in Milan there is a special fair: fiera dell'artigianato where you can visit all the world jumping from foods to many other items tipical from each land presented. It is a special appintment before X'Mas that nobody wants to loose and is a way for Momichan to apprend something about many land she has not yet known.

The Fair is divided in stand subdivided into Europe, Asia, Africa, East, America, Messico, Italy (every region) Russia, Hungary, China, Thailand, .....every nation of the worls nearly ... you can walk around and buy whatever you want, from foods to bags, dresses, shoes, pullovers, Christmas decorations, chokolate, music cd, strange gadgets from Australia (boomerangs, last year we had bought the special sign we have attached to the car with a cangaroo and his baby and the indication telling "baby on board") lamps, alcoohlics, salami, ham, katana from Japan, maccha tea, .... every nation has its specialties.

This time just athe entrance, I have found in the French stand a supercute bag of Gaspard et Lisa, two french charchters so famous and wellknown in Japan of which I have some bento stuff. Momichan was so happy about fair, she was sitting on my shoulders shouting and clapping hands, astonished by everything she was seeing. She eated so much, first a big fruit salad (kiwi, strawberries and ananas) then she tasted every salami and chokolate she found ;-) we also bought her some special lollipop, then she eated quite and entire giant pretzel HAHAHA I never saw Momichan tasting so many things and being so curious, I guess because now she has grown up so much, we visit this fair every year in the first week of december and we always buy some souvenir, some food or some ruhm or dress accessories.

One of the special things we love is the French stand because of many patè and cheese, then we visit Germany because of Chapati Design where you can find special sweaters and coats like elph dresses, Spain because of hairy cow bags, Peru with his children coats all decorated and special berrets, Africa with his leather bags, purses, jewels, France with lavender perfumes and soaps, honey and chokolates and many other Nations.
There are places in which you can buy shells (foto) and many selling jewels made various materials: gold and silver but also, straw, shells, wool, bones leather, pearls ....

We have walked and curioused around until 22.00 PM and then we directed to our car to go home with our treasures: a little leather bracelet for Momichan made in Kenya, a ruhm bottle coming from Jamaica for me, some truffle sala mi for Sampei(the salami was aromatised by truffles and the smell was very strong YUM YUM we love it), a special strawberry pink sugar and a Hello Kitty bib with her name sewed on for Momichan, a special butter cake from Italia, a small dose of marmelade, a pair of tiny pearls earrings and a Chapati discounted sweater for me, (as Xmas present) and some bits of cheese and another italian butter cake for granny.

Momichan was tired but so excited she didn't want to go sleep even if once home was really late and till midnight sje pretendet to jump and dance around ! I made her shower and prepared pijama and milk bottle, (see Momichan wearing my new green elph sweater) and put her to bed, she finally fall asleep and we relaxed in front of tv eating our dinner.
I am really tired, walking all day long and running after Momichan is not really relaxing HAHAHA and also try to keep an eye on mummy and Sampei running everywhere so that if just I stopped to look at something in a few second I was lost and could not see them any more HAHAHA.

thomas the train present

Finally after thousands of mess I made the payment for Momichan present, she likes Thomas the Train so much so I bought her a little coin purse to put inside her change to buy her candies (everytime she is jouzu or make something right we give her a coin to put in her piggybank ^^

Now we only have to wait to see when arrives .... ^___^

Tagà - wonder stroller :)

I was reading a kid magazine and all of a sudden I saw a publicity of a strange hybrid stroller/bike whose name is TAGA.

Taga is a wonderful alternative to bike trailer and child seat, you can use it as a bike to take your kid wherever you want and in case you want to enter a store you don't even need to secure it outside with a chain but with a simple movement you can transform it from bike to stroller and take it inside with your kid seated on it, make your shopping and when you get outside again get it transformed into bike again :) WOW

You can also buy a lot of accessories like the raincover stroller mode in case of rain or a windy day, the side bags to have juice, sun canopy, snacks or toys always at the ready, you can attach also a car seat adaptor if your baby is 3 or 5 months and when your kid is too big to use this hybrid you can just take the child seat away and put on the special shopping basket :)

You can choose between four different colours: red, orange, green and sky blue.

Is a netherland product and I saw it is sold everywhere in the north Europe and in the United States, here is not so well known but I found a store in my city.

It can be used until 6 years (35 kilos) I guess is a valid idea and as soon as the kid is too big you can easily change the stroller and put on the collapsable shopping basket. The stroller/bike has also a rucksac you can use to take your belongings and the child items (a change, nappies, a bottle, juices ...)

The price is a little high, around 1400 dollars but I guess it is all worth, someone of you ousite Italy got it ?
I guess is a nice dream to think at, if I could I would buy my baby Momoko everything possible, but I am not my daddy, he had possibility to offer my sister and me when we were small, many things I will never be able to give to my childe; one thing is buying a toy even if money is so short, another is thinking to spend 1400 dollars we do not have, in this moment we have other priorities but is nice to think anyway, in case we are able to realize everything we need can be cute to think at ^_^

Momi's Bento Box

Today we had to go ChinaTown to buy some japanese foods we can find only there.

We were walking around and we were curiosing around inside the shops to see if there were some novelties.

In one of our preferred stores where usually we buy edamame, I found a new bento box, inside the shop they had the same bento in three different measures: one, two and three tier.

I bought the smaller one but I was thinking whenever I will go next week by bicycle with Momi to buy another one bigger.

I will use this one for Momi to take around her snacks and future bento I will prepare her as soon as wse will have the new kitchen at home, cannot wait to have my new kitchen ^^

Here is the new bento box, light brown decorated by flowers, very cute, name is written in japanese and is correct even if the bento is made in China, shape is round and I have to say it is a big box for a baby 2 years old.

I can use it also for my future work thanks to the two handles I do not need to use a bag to carry it, I can use for Momi to take food or snacks when we go to the park or if we go on trip somewhere, I can also put some ice cubes on the bottom inside a plastic bag to keep food fresh ^^
We also visited Kathay and we bought some noodles, green tea mochi and three bowles for rice, green decorated by sakura flowers, they were discounted, we thought they will be very useful for rice, spaguetti, sweets and whatever we will want to cook and serve on the table. Momichan also found some Hello Kitty hair pins and obviously we were forced to buy :)) you can see in the foto she is wearing one ^^

Hello Kitty Bento Set For Momichan

Today Momichan and I were going around for the center of Milan with the bicycle.
At the moment the city is full of tourists coming from everywhere and nearly all the shops are open. There is also a little store selling Hello Kitty items, bags, bentos, pencils, jewels, everything, as I know Momichan is crazy about Kitty we went inside to see and she got crazy about everything she saw. She filled her arms with tool set, special cup, sunglasses, toothbrush, little fork and all she wanted to have, well I couldn't buy her everything but just some items she can use everyday and also we can take with us on vacation or just to eat ouside ^^

Here is the special cup we bought and the other foto is the tool set, we also bought a little bottle she can take around, perfect to drink on the bicycle whenever she wants ^^

In the last foto you can see Momichan this evening, eating her dinner before going to bed, she is wearing her pijama, Hello Kitty obviously :)

Momichan And Hello Kitty Yukata

Today Momichan has chosen her dress from the wardrobe, the Hello Kitty yukata sent in february by her granny from Japan.
She loves it really, seems she gets crazy about Hello Kitty, everytime she sees somewhere she screams happily, and she is enthusiast of her red yukata ^^

Baby Shopping

Finally it seems hot season is coming, trees are starting to produce leaves after the long cold season, first fowers are coming out between the grass everywhere and in the shops windows are full of new fresh cutie dresses for kids.
Also Momichan seems interested in the new items, she starts to like doing shopping and runs everywhere taking this and that item and putting inside the stroller. We decided to buy her theese dresses so she will be elegant but comfortable and she will be sooo pretty ^^

Some we bought in pink and some in green, pink is so romantic and Momichan is so "kawaii" :)

I thought it was not necessary but when I saw I fall in love with a hat and a little bag that transform Momichan into a small lady, could not absolutely leave in the shop, guess she will use to take her favourite pelouche but I wil have to hook the little bag at the strollerr or she will drop on the ground somewhere as always, with a pullover she will be perfect for Easter hoping it will be sunny and hot enough.

Momichan is so cute dressing jeans, she really seem a small adult he is so pretty so we bought a pair of jeans.
She has never had what we call "ballerine" little flat shoes so romantic and cute that you can wear practically with everything, is her first pair of cute shoes (she owns a pair of botts for the snow or rain, a pair of sneakers and a open leather shoe with strip strap closure)

 

Baby Phone

Having a small child a baby phone is the best thing.
Seems stupid but when Momichan is in he bed I have many things to do and even if our house is just 85 square meters at the moment, can happe I o not hear her, expecially if I am in the kitchen washing dishes so we decided it was best to buy this item I can easily carry everywhere and also when we visit granny and Momichan sleeps at the first floor, we can seat on the sofa downstairs and with this ittle radio I can hear every movement or cry she does.

Also going Ikea and having a baby, as we are changing house and have the possibility to organize it secure for a baby, we have the idea to buy other items hoping never to use but that in case can b very useful.

Blanket to use to suffocate a fire, gas relevator, estintore and other little things that will make us feel better "just in case" :)

Soft Chair

Everytime Momichan gets home when we have been out, first thing she does is going in front of the tv cupboard and light the tv on, she plays withher toys and listen to the programs and if she ears some cute jingle she start to dance (I am carefoul to choose programs she can see without any problem and anyway she just looks tv for less than 10 minutes)

Problem was that if se gets interested in something, some spot for food for example, she goes too near the tv set so we decided it was best to buy her a place to seat all for her.
The result is she loves her new "place" and now whenever she want to look at some books or give a glance at tv she seats there, even when she drinks from her bottle ^^ WOW :)

Sunglasses

Momichan now own a pair of sunglasses.

A pair of weeks ago we were at Chicco Store and there were discounts so thinking of a future travel this summer to the sea side we thought it was best for Momichan to have a pair of sun glasses so that she can save her little eyes from the sun rays and here she is today wearing glasses at home for the first time. She was funny, she looked at herself into the mirror and laughed.

Unfortunately when we gout of house sun has gone away so we could not use the glasses but Momichan did not seem to care about.

We went to granny and Momi walked everywhere, she amuses walking up the stairs, guess as soon as she will live there she will get crazy about as she will haveto do every day two times or more a day.

Allerhand Combi Cooler

The Allerhand Combi Cooler is a supercute light bag to carry your essentials and of course a pair of nappies, cream and towel and a complete set of food ad snacks for all day long inside the special thermo pocket, perfect to go to the park being sure to have something to change your baby, his foods, your handy, keys and ... coins for your coffee ? HAHA

For us is a superbag we can use to go to park 30 meters near home when is not necessary to take other stuff and carry normal heavy baby bag. This Combi Cooler I can hang to the stroller or in case we just have a small walk, just hold in one hand or or my shoulder, we have all we need for a afternoon ouside but near home ^^

Present From Japan

A package arrived today while we were preparing lunch. Hubby went down to take it fromt the caretaker and came up smiling: "we have received a package from Japan, my mum sent" said he.
We immediately sat down on the sofa curious and opened it, it was full of presents for Momichan. Granny had bought pink sweaters, a special pink Hallo Kitty cup to drink, a yellow Pichachu dress, a cute Hallo Kitty red kimono (foto below) set we will use this summer, some hats she made herself knitting (she made a couple in white, one for me and one for baby exactly the same) and two pink jackets, one with sleeves and the other not. All dresses are big enough for Momichan to be used until 3 years old ^^

We made immediately Momichan get dressed with Pichachu and she smiled happily, we gave her the special Kitty cup with juice inside and she started to walk around drinking and dancing ^^
The special cup as you can see int he foto has two different covers depending from the age of the child, te one I put is suitable for babies 1 year old, the other with the straw is better for older childs eventually 2 year old ones.

Momichan does not yet know anything about her japnese granny and auntie, oncle and cousin Ryuki, maybe when she will be bigger we will show he fotos of them and will explain who they are, but you know kids only understand relationships etween people they see every day but w hope anyway to go again to Japan as soon as she will be big enought to support a 20 hours travel to reach them maybe when she will be at least three years old, also I want to see my nephew Ryuki and his brother or sister that will arrive this summer, mummy is still expecting, hope se will tel us soon if will be a boy or a girl ^^

We are also sending a big package to Japan with presents for everyone, granny, auntie, oncle, little Ryuki and even for his brother or sister, I ven put a bottle in the package, some dresses, sweets, scarfs and gloves, a pair of soft blankets for the kids, some toys and a carillon (ikea barnslig fagel) ^^

Momichan didn't even want to take her Pikachu dress away so she had lunch wearing it ^^

Cool Ideas From Australia

Recently I found an interesting website called URBAN BABY which sells items for babies, kids, toddlers for every occasion, eating, travel, bath and so on and many unique items never seen before. Urban Baby is australian store and items are sent from Australia ^^
Here are some favorite items of mine which I recommend you ^^

If you go restaurant with your baby you can never know if the highchair they are giving you is clean enough, besides guess you want to avoid your baby make a mess all around so, a great idea is this item you can opn and put inside the highchair so the set will be clean and a it is 75 cm large it provides enough space for the baby to make experiments with food without dirting the napkin, also it is equipped with two loops you can use to secure a comforter or a toy so that your child will play and it want fall on the floor ^^

And what about if you want to make a smal pic nick or just take a walk with your baby and take snacks with you and our personal belongigns without taking to many bags with you ? you can use this practical Combi Cooler roomy enough to have space for bottles, snacks, a toweel for change, nappies, creams and all you need in a little space.

Another item I find very useful is this little rucsack in which your child can keep a favourite pluche or some little toys and you can hold your kid and be sure he never will escape ^^

And what about a bubble maker, the oldest game in the world well known by everbody ? the set include a bubble bucket and a special bubble mix. The bubble bucket includes three wands, and the base screw off so you can fill it with the bubble mix, a easy to carry handle will help the kid take the bubble bucket everywhere to bubble wherever he wants and seems to be easy enough to be used by a 2 year old kid ^^
