Easter in Livigno :)

For Easter time we have organized a short trip to the mountains; as you remember Momichan has been provided with her first suitcase so we start to use it for this trip, she was really enchanted yesterday evening as I prepared her dresses and belongings and filled the suitcase, she loves travelling, going to restaurant and stay in hotel :)

I also prepared her rucksack with little books, albums and pencils to draw and a small pelouche but Momichan never used, she watched outside the panorama all the time :)

We stopped for lunch around midday at a McDonalds along the road and Momi was good enough to eat everything, she loves chiken nugget and fries, then we traveled on and one hour later Momichan fall asleep. Approaching the montains we see a lot of snow addn as soon as we enter the wood a red squirrel jumps quickly along the road as red as a carrot, Momi is still sleeping :) but she awakes soon after as we enter Livigno town. where people is still skiing, Momichan look at the snow and the people skiing and says she want to do the same but she is still too small, maybe next year if we will be able to have holidays during winter time :)

We arrive at the hotel, it is a tipical cute mountain hotel made of stone and wood, our room is an apartment, it has a bathroom with shower, a big wardrobe, two sofa we can transform into two big beds and also a table and a kitchen corner, it can be perfect if we want to go this summer to cook lunches and have breackfast without spending too much money outside (we can also go supermarket at home and take food from home as in Livigno items are really expensive), also just outside I notice there is a laundry service so eventually Momichan and I can wash our dresses easily :)

This time we decide we will have breackfast at the hotel so Momichan can have a new experience.

We put down the suitcases and bags and we go out in the town. Everything is new for Momichan even if we have been there many times with her but she was smaller :) we go shopping a little and in the meantime we look around to find a place where we will have dinner.

I discover a Kiko store, its new, opened just last december in the place of another perfume store not as much cute :) nice we give a look inside, Momichan is attracted by the enamel colours and lip glosses, I notice a couple of product in our city Kiko stores are finished and profit of the situation and buy four (they are also strongly discounted), Momichan wants a pink enamel and a transparent lip gloss .... HAHAHA she is just 3 years old but she perfectly knows what she wants ! HAHAHA well no problem to buy her a transparent gloss which makes her tiny lips shine like star and a pink candy enamel (just for feet nails not to put on hands nails) and a small special enamel beauty so she can have enamels, gloss and her face and body creams with her when she travels, Momichan jumps for happiness :)

Just outside there is our preferred store, a little supermaket called "The Cooperativa" where we buy sugar, chokolate bars, broth dices or powders, Knorr instant soups, cheese, ham, bresaola and many other foods.

Granny wants to go to see other shops and Momichan is hungry so we take an appointment for 19.00 PM and we direct to a tipical place, we sit and we order a "tagliere",(for Momi), a cappuccino (for me) and a caipirina for dad. (A "tagliere" is normally a wooden board you use to cut foods but here indicated a dish of salami, ham and local delicacies).

Momichan loves speck, and she eats everything togather with some fresh mountain bread. As soon as we finish we go on walking around, she wants to see toys stores and Swarowski (she loves the brilliant transparent animals on the window displays).

Soon is seven o'clock, temperature is getting quickly down, (already -9° degrees), luckily I dressed Momichan warm and she wears her winter pink feather jacket and pile berret.

We reach granny and we direct to a restaurant near our hotel, Momi is happy again she loves eating outside home like adults do, I order a mixed grill meat dish, fries and a salad for me and Momi, daddy takes the special mountain pasta and a big grilled steck, granny takes also a salad and a grilled steck. Momichan loves to eat home and she likes to have always the same foods but when we are out she also loves to eat at the restaurant and try new combinations, she perfectly knows she cannot have her "pastina and ham" for dinner but fries are enough to produce on her face a large smile.

At the end of our dinner we go out in the darkness walking towards the hotel. Every building is decorated by light as used during Christmas time and Momichan smiles happily pointing at the sparkling, gleaming lights :)

We arrive at the hotel completely frozen but inside is warm enough, I prepare Momichan her milk bottle while she looks cartoons on tv, daddy and granny in the meantime are changing and preparing to go bed, daddy is doing a hot shower and granny is taking her pijama out of her travel bag. It is nearly eleven o'clock and Momican is tired but electrified by all the novelties and doesn't seem to have any idea about going bed for the night. Daddy has finished his shower and comes on the sofa bed with us, I change my dresses with my pijama and Momichan takes her milk bottle while watching the last part of a cartoon, I put tv off and we finally put light off. Tomorrow it will be a new day and we are here in the mountains and will be sunny and hot :) YEYYYYY !!! :)
