japanese restaurant

Daddy has proposed to go restaurant today and have a family day. He said he knows a nice japanese restaurant where his collegues go everytime they meet to play soccer togather, they are japanese and have said this restaurant is really good, food is exactly like in Japan and, there is a peculiarity: it is the only place in Milan to serve ramen らメン and the only one to have onigiri　おにぎり WOW ! I have never found a restaurant in which to have possibility to eat onigiri, this one must be nice :) We arrive, Momochan is happy, we are not going restaurant often and she loves to eat outside also she likes japanese food. The restaurant suggest a menu in which you pay a certain sum (not much) and you can eat all you want, kids pay half. Cool ! there are a tons of things, we order korokke, chiken meatballs and rice for Momochan, soup, potato korokke for us, fried octopus, tempura, grilled なす and other foods. Momochan tastes everything and is enthusiastic about the food.Momochan is trying to learn how to use hashi はし because she remembers when we went Japan, her friend Yuna, 4 years old and a half, was already able to use and she wants to make the same. I have to say she is pretty good in using hashi, also she is not using them often but (see foto) she is already able to take food and take to her mouth without letting it falling on the plate (we had asked to the waiter if they had some easy hashi for kids and they have taken one special for Momochan). We eat many delicious foods and Momochan is really a good child, she also tastes the tea but sais she doesn't like it so much (first tea they took was genmaicha 玄米茶, a special mixture of brown rice tea with a strong particular flavour and after normal green tea with the tipical taste of fresh peas and grass).

Here is Momochan again on the merry-go-round.
Today daddy is with us so we can take a walk for coffee at our preferred place and buy some ticket for Momochan to let her go on the merry-go-round.
Momochan likes horses so she jumps up a big one put in a nice place to take the tail (see in the first foto the yellow tail in the left corner of the foto ?)
There are three characters: Winnie Pooh, Kittychan and Hi Ho, see in the other foto Winnie Pooh flying and Momochan trying to take the tail ? HAHAHA she won again this time and she jumped happily to show her daddy she had :)

merry-go-round :)

As yesterday merry-go-round has been assembled, today I can take Momochan :)

Now she has grown bigger she is able to take the tail of the characters and win another turn, she is really happy about this ability and she perfectly know now she can have a free turn without mummy to pay :)) GEEEEE
And here she is, first turn on the right she is riding a horse, she has taken the tail and she can have a second turn inside the coffee mug (she choosed).

As every morning I take Momochan to kindergarden.

Outside is very cold theese days while inside school there is a nice warm air, Momochan is happy to go because she can play and stay with her friends.

Everyday teachers invent something to do with the kids and now they are working at the decorations regarding snow and the ones for Carnival, they use glue, coloured paper and a tons of different objects such as cotton pads, plastic pet bottles, tissue, leaves and many others.

After I have prepared and dressed Momochan with her apron (see foto), I leave to go to the central plaza with a friend to take a coffee at our usual preferred coffee shop and while we are talking we notice the carousel has arrived !!! WOW Momochan will be very happy, I thought it would have arrived next week but is already there, it means this year they will be there during Carnival !!! WEEEE

ゆき (雪) snow :)

Today in our town is snowing pretty hard :)
Momochan is so happy because she hopes it will come so much snow to have possibility to make snowmen :)
At the moment we are taking a walk around and Momochan has to take her umbrella not to get all wet and humid, we will come back home soon because is so cold and in our little town in a day like that things to do are really few and obviously you cannot take kids to the park.
Something we can do is to leave our hands prints wherever we can so coming back home after a while we discover some cars covered with a thick mantle of snow and we profit to leave our prints :)

first night in the new bed :)

Yesterday I assembled the new bed for Momochan but I didn't have the time to wash the new sheets and blankets (I always wash new dress, sheets and things like that before using expecially if they belong to Momo).
Momochan wantend to sleep in her new bed but I had to tell her she had to wait another day so that I could wash the new sheets and buy her the new pillow and other items.
She weeped but I guess it was just because she was really tired not really because of the bed, she had not taken her usual nap in the afternoon, I gave her milk and put to bed.This evening instead I had the new bed complete, we had new pillow, mattress protector and comforter. I put Momochan in her new bed, gave her her milk bottle, kissed her, gave her her pelouche and went away to cook my dinner.

After neither a quarter of an hour she came in the livingroom saying she was frightened and did not want to stay in her bed. I had to take her back, give her another tons of kisses and ............ put her in her usual baby bed !
I guess she has to get accustomed to the new one so I said her as she can sleep in her old one, she can take naps in the new big bed, and in the night stay her old one unless she will get accustomed to sleep in the big new bed, anyway there is no problem, she can coose everytime where to sleep, all the beds are equipped with sheets, pillows, and blankets and anycase she can also come and sleep with us in our big bed HAHAHA :O

Outside today is incredibly snowing and temperature is slowing coming down, flakes are big as a coin and already the roofs outside are totally white, Momochan and I are at home looking tv and eating pop corn we have bought this morning at the supermarket, hot, butter and salt :)

pirates !!!

This morning we have gone shopping to the supermarket.
Recently daddy has changed again his free days so now he is home totally on sunday and has a free morning on saturday so even if is not comfortable (because everyone is going supermarket on saturday and there is a mess) we have to go shopping on this morning.

The first week of february here in Italy will be Carnival time and since now in the supermarket costumes and masks are sold, there was one last week that I really wanted to have for Momochan which reflects what she likes now: pirates !

Once home she put on her new costume and she runned around shouting and laughing, here she is :)

WEEEE !!! finally we have the new bed ! This morning, togather with mommy, after having taken Momochan to kindergarden, I have gone Ikea store to buy the new bed for Momochan :) <

Ayway we would have bought in a couple of months because Momo is growing and her baby bed is becoming too short and we also need a bedd for granny whenever she comes to us so we have bought:
nr. 1 MYDAL bunk bed frame
nr. 2 JÖMNA spring mattresses

nr. 2 VITAMINER VIMPEL duvet cover and pillow

nr. 2 DVALA fitted sheets with elastic corners

nr. 1 SUNDVIK children table in exchange on her two old red Lack squared ones. 

Once home I had to assemble the table and the bed, luckily mommy could help because it would have been impossibile all by myself, the result you can see, Momochan is very proud of her new bed and she amuses to climb on the upper bed to read, play and hide, all the room and half of the house smell like a pine forest HAHA and her room is now really cute and comfortable also for granny.
Now Momochan has the room she wanted so  much and we couldn 't give her last year, she has her private wardrobe, her bed and toys, she can play in our livingroom but whenever she wants to stay quiet and needs her space she has now her own place and her her things are all in the same place and not around the house, her bedroom is a new space where she can grow and imagine ;)

Howl's Moving Castle (ハウルの動く城 Hauru no Ugoku Shiro) is a 2004 Japanese animated fantasy film scripted and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

We have seen this cartoon yesterday night, it is not the first time we see iton tv, sometimeson a special channel Miyazaki stories are shown.

PLOT
Sophie, a hatter, is a responsible eighteen-year-old girl who encounters a mysterious wizard named Howl while on her way to visit her younger sister. The Witch of the Waste, who pursues Howl, comes to the hat shop and curses Sophie by transforming her into an old woman. Seeking a cure for the curse, Sophie travels into the Wastes and finds a living scarecrow, who takes her to Howl's castle. Here, Sophie meets the fire demon Calcifer, the source of the castle's energy and power. Calcifer offers to break the curse in exchange for Sophie's help in breaking the spell he's under, which keeps Calcifer bound to the house. When Howl appears, Sophie announces that she is the castle's new cleaning lady, hired by Calcifer because he was sick of how dirty the castle was. Currently, Sophie's country is caught up in the beginning of a war with its neighbor following the mysterious disappearance of the other realm's Crown Prince. Howl receives summons from the King, who orders his various assumed identities to fight in the war. However, Howl comes up with an idea to send Sophie, under the guise of being his mother, to the king to profess the cowardice of one of Howl's two aliases. At the palace, Sophie runs into an asthmatic dog, Heen, who she thinks is Howl undercover. She also meets the Witch of the Waste, who Suliman, the king's magic advisor, punishes by draining all of her power, causing her to regress into a harmless old woman. Suliman tells Sophie that Howl will meet the same fate if he does not contribute to the war.
As Sophie vehemently protests these measures, the Witch's spell temporarily weakens due to the love in her words. Suliman realizes Sophie's true relation to Howl and her strong romantic feelings towards him. Howl then arrives to rescue Sophie, Suliman tries to entrap Howl, but with Sophie's help, they manage to escape. Sophie learns that Howl transforms into a bird-like creature to interfere in the war, but each transformation makes it more difficult for him to return to human form. Sophie fears that Howl is preparing to leave them, as his remaining time as a human is limited, he returns to interfering in the war. Sophie's mother shows up and is actually under Suliman's control and leaves behind a bag containing a "peeping bug" under her orders. The former Witch of the Waste discovers it and promptly destroys the bug by tossing it into Calcifer. Unfortunately, Calcifer gets sick after eating the bug, rendering him unable to protect the castle from being discovered. A few hours later, the city is carpet-bombed by enemy aircraft while Suliman's henchmen invade the flower shop Howl made for Sophie. After protecting the flower shop from the bombing, Howl draws the guards away just after healing Calcifer. He tells Sophie he is not going to run away anymore because he has something he wants to protect before leaving to interfere with the war. Deducing that Howl must be saved, Sophie moves everyone out of the castle and removes Calcifer from the fireplace, destroying the castle.
She offers Calcifer a piece of her hair to strengthen him enough to power and energize a portion of the castle. They head toward Howl when the former Witch of the Waste discovers Howl's heart within Calcifer. The Witch takes the heart and refuses to let go of it although it is burning her. Sophie pours water onto The Witch of the Waste making Calcifer lose all his strength and power. The segment of the castle is split, and she and Heen fall down a chasm. Making her way toward Howl's heart, Sophie enters through the door into the black region and discovers a recollection of how Howl and Calcifer meet: Howl eats Calcifer, who then gains his heart. Sophie finds Howl, having now lost his human consciousness in bird form. They head back to the group, and Sophie asks the Witch for Howl's heart. She gives it to her and Sophie places the heart back inside Howl, returning him to life, and freeing Calcifer. She kisses the scarecrow on the cheek as thanks, who reveals that he is actually the missing prince. Heen shows the scene of their happy end to Suliman, and the war is finally over. Howl, Sophie, and the others are seen high above the bomber planes returning home from the end of the war.

We are still making tentatifs  oarrange Momochan's bedroom, to find a solution to have the more space possibile for her to jump and play and have everything she need, also we need a new bed for her and something that granny can use when she comes to us. A solution would be a bunk bed frame so we have thought at MYDAL, maybe I can go to buy it in a couple of days with mum at Ikea nearest store.

For the moment Momchan amuses to jump on granny's temporary bed and play with her small cars on the rung I have put in front :)

Since Christamas holidays Momochan has wished to prepare meatballs with her daddy but then we had completely forgotten so today I said to Momochan she could prepare with daddy, we had to go shopping at the supermarket and she was happy she could help :)

We bought some fresh veggies and minced meat, at home while she was playing in her room, daddy washed and minced the veggies and mixed them all with meat after that we called Momochan, I dressed her with apron (the green one you see she is wearing in the foto is mine, she has one yellow but I do not know why, I cannot find it nowere, maybe it is somewhere among all the items we have in the room under the roof still to put in order someday ..... HEHEHE)

and Momochan started to prepare the meatballs while daddy prepared warm veggies and some white rice.
Momochan is so proud to have the capacity to do meatballs all by herself and she always amuses in doing that :)

Sometimes Momichan doesn't want to sleep alone so I take her to my bedroom and let stay in my big bed so that when daddy comes back home we sleep alltogather but before that I have to sing her a lullaby, recently I have re-discovered this one which among all and Prince of Egypt lullaby is her preferred :)

Park Jae-Sang (Coreano: 박재상; Seul, 31 dicembre 1977) è un rapper, cantante e ballerino sudcoreano, meglio conosciuto con il nome d'arte PSY (Coreano: 싸이). È famoso in Corea per le coreografie comiche e colorate che accompagnano le sue canzoni e per il suo senso dell'umorismo.[2] Ha raggiunto la popolarità a livello globale con la canzone Gangnam Style.

kindergarden: outside trip

This morning Momochan and the entire school hag a short trip outside to visit Carlo Colla marionette museum, Momo was excited about that and always asked me during the X'mas holidays since the moment we knew she had to go. This morning instead of 9.00 AM we had to go kindergarden at 8.45 AM  because she and her schoolmates had to take a special bus, she was so happy and when we entered the downstairs bar to have a coffee for me and met one of the mum of the kindergarden kids who said we should loose the bus because it was late (it was not but she is always talking nonsense), Momochan runned outside and said me also to run because she didn't want to loos the trip HAHAHA Here she is getting out of kindergarden and jumping on the bus, I guess she will tell me afterwards when I will go and take her home at 16.00 PM

Ali Babà and the 40 thieves

The Carlo Colla company is one of the most famous companys of the entire world, working since 300 years. On occasion of international shows the Colla Marionette shows are seen from adults and kids in every part of the world.
I guess the kids have gone to see the laboratory where marionettes are created and to see the exposition.

天空の城ラピュタ Tenkū no shiro Rapyuta (Laputa il castello nel cielo)

Laputa - Castello nel cielo (天空の城ラピュタ Tenkū no shiro Rapyuta) è il terzo lungometraggio d'animazione diretto da Hayao Miyazaki.
Il titolo del film è un esplicito riferimento all'isola immaginaria Laputa, descritta nel romanzo I viaggi di Gulliver di Jonathan Swift.
Prodotto tra il giugno 1985 e il luglio 1986, e uscito nelle sale il 2 agosto di quello stesso anno, non tradì le aspettative né dei fan né dello stesso Studio Ghibli, che si apprestava a diventare uno dei più rinomati studi di animazione del mondo.

TRAMA
La storia inizia con una bambina, Sheeta, che, per scappare da un gruppo di pirati dell'aria intenzionati a catturarla, scivola dall'aeronave e cade dal cielo su un villaggio. Durante la caduta una misteriosa luce avvolge la piccola, che improvvisamente inizia a galleggiare nell'aria, fino ad atterrare dolcemente nelle braccia di un ragazzo orfano, Pazu, di ritorno alla fine del suo turno in miniera. Dopo averla soccorsa, Pazu la porta nella sua casa.
La mattina, appena svegli i due fanno subito amicizia, e durante la conversazione Pazu scopre che Sheeta è una discendente del popolo di Laputa, un leggendario castello volante che viaggia nel cielo nascosto dalle nuvole da centinaia di anni. In pochi credono alla sua esistenza, ma Pazu ne è convinto grazie al fatto che suo padre, anni addietro, fotografò parte della imponente struttura.
Pazu racconta che persino nel romanzo I viaggi di Gulliver di Jonathan Swift vi è una descrizione del castello. Il ragazzo decide quindi di aiutarla a ritornare nella sua città e insieme intraprendono una lunga avventura, costantemente inseguiti dai pirati e dall'esercito.

PERSONAGGI
Sheeta
personaggio principale del film, la ragazzina ha vissuto tra i monti in solitudine, custodendo un segreto a cui ora l'esercito è particolarmente interessato. Il suo nome segreto è "Lusheeta Toel Ul
Laputa" ed è una degli ultimi discendenti della famiglia reale di Laputa, il leggendario castello volante, come dimostra il suo pendente: una pietra con il simbolo di Laputa e il potere di annullare la forza di gravità.
Pazu
un giovane orfano che lavora nelle miniere. Aiuta Sheeta e l'accompagna per tutta l'avventura inseguendo il sogno sfiorato dal padre: la scoperta di Laputa. Assumerà un aspetto molto protettivo verso la sua amica.
Colonnello Muska
un uomo misterioso che controlla i servizi segreti e che si rivela il principale antagonista. Indossa occhiali neri, possiede molte informazioni su Laputa, ha modi educati ed è spietato. Muska cerca la pietra di Sheeta per trovare Laputa e impossessarsi del suo potere.
Dola
donna a capo di un gruppo di pirati dell'aria, in cerca della pietra di Sheeta. Non sembra conoscere appieno i poteri della pietra e il suo collegamento con Laputa.
Generale
comandante dell'esercito, è sovente in contrasto con Muska.

new year :)

For the first day of the year we had organized another special lunch and granny was still here with us, Momochan is happy when granny is there even if she doesn't show :)

Momochan and granny were looking tv togather while we were preparing food, some special strudel with ham and cheese inside (normally strudel is sweet but we have found some recipes to make a salted version), tortellini in broth and something else quick to do.

Momochan loves to make bubbles so here she is today just under our house, along the street :)
Daddy and granny are upstairs inside house preparing and dressing while Momochan and I have a quick walk outside.

Momo loves to make bubbles, she made a thousands bubbles of all the colours of the rainbow, she made and I exploded HAHAHA

Waling along the street we arrived at the little bridge over the water, there were some ducks, two females and a male quacking happily, pity we didn't have some bread to give but I guess it was not time for them to eat, if it not "lunch time" you throw them food they do not give a look at, from our house we can hear the ducks, so whenever we hear we can quickly get out and take some hard bread bread shop is just under our house or eventually we have some we did not eat so we use for them :) Quick now ! we have to come home again, daddy and granny are waiting for us for lunch !
