daddy's coming to town ...

Daddy is coming back home today, he has called me during the night yesterday to tell me the data of the flight and we have to go Linate Airport to catch him up, Momochan is so happy about it ;)
She has choosed what to wear and has taken her Peppa Pig bag with her juice ;)
And here we go with our family Clio car to the airport, pity I forgot to take a foto of daddy and kid as soon as he got out of the doorsbut here they are running through out town happily "daddy take meeeeee HAHAHAH"

pencil case

This year Momochan has to take to kindergarden a pencil case and a big notebook.
Kids will use to accustom to the first year of school next year and will learn how to use. Momochan got crazy for a green Trilly pencil case she saw in the shops under our house since this spring, so yesterday I bought ;)
I had to wrote down and personalize every pencil, felt pen, rubber, sharpener, ruler and pen so that she will not loose !

2nd day of kindergarden ;)

Today Momochan is starting kindergarden again.
This will be her last year, next year she will attend elementary school ;)
Today Momochan is verry happy, she will have many novelties, first of all 17 new little kids 3 years old in her class and second but not last, a notebook and a pencil case like big kids !!!
Teachers will get kids accustomed to notebooks and the way of doing of elementary school, not really teaching how to write but giving another step to kids to grow and enter in a bigger world ;)

For the first four days, kids will have to wear the special t-shirt they have decorated last spring, see in the foto ? every shirt had notes (the theme of the year) and the name of the kid in a corner, each kid has decorated his own t-shirt and afterwards teachers have ironed each one to get the colours strong and make the shirts washable ;)
Once arrived at school we discover kids of the class are so few: looking at the bags attached in the bathroom (containing a change for the kids just in case), they are only six (Momochan's bag is the second one) ;)

1st day of kindergarden

This morning Momochan restart going kindergarden ;)
She is very happy to see her friends again and play, she will get out for all the next week long at 13.15 after lunch and in the meantime other kids (15 more or less) will be added to her class: in june they have lost 16 kids because they are now going to first year of elementary school ;)
New kids will be 3 years old. This year Momochan will learn new things and will have her frist tries to write and read ;)
For the occasion we have gone for breakfast at our preferred coffè shop: coffee for me and a small apricot brioche for Momochan, before at home, she has had her fruit yogurt ;)

Monsters University

Today we are going to cinema again to see MONSTERS UNIVERSITY.


PLOT
After visiting Monsters Inc. on a school field trip, a young monster named Michael "Mike" Wazowski dreams of being a scarer when he grows up. Eleven years later, Mike is a scare major at Monsters University, where he meets his new roommate, Randall "Randy" Boggs and a large blue furry monster named James P. "Sulley" Sullivan. Mike studies hard, while the privileged Sulley, relying on his natural scaring ability, begins to falter. At the final exam, Mike and Sulley's rivalry makes Hardscrabble fail them both and drop them from the program, prompting Roar Omega Roar to remove Sulley from their team.
Eventually Mike decides to prove himself by entering the Scare Games but Oozma Kappa is denied entry as they are one team member short. Seeing the competition as his ticket back into the scare program Sulley joins and Mike reluctantly accepts. Oozma Kappa fails the first challenge but miraculously advances when another team is disqualified. Soon they attend the Roar Omega Roar's party where the other competitors humiliate and discourage Oozma Kappa. Mike arranges a secret visit to Monsters, Inc. to lift their spirits. Sulley still doubts Mike can be a true scarer. After the team wins the final round, Mike discovers that Sulley cheated to improve Mike's score.
Determined to prove he is capable of becoming a scarer, Mike breaks into the school's door lab and enters a door to the human world, but discovers that the door leads to a summer camp and he is unable to scare the cabin full of kids.
Back at the university, Sulley confesses to Hardscrabble that he cheated, just as she's notified of the break-in. Realizing what happened, Sulley enters the door to look for Mike. After finding Mike and reconciling, they attempt to return, but find themselves trapped in the human world, as Hardscrabble has deactivated the door while waiting for the authorities to arrive. Mike realizes that the only way to get back into the monster world is to generate enough scream energy to power the door from their side. Working together, Sulley and Mike terrify the adults, generating an overwhelming amount of scream energy and allowing them to return to the lab.
Their actions lead to their expulsion from the university, but the other members of Oozma Kappa are accepted into the scare program the next semester as Hardscrabble was impressed with their performance in the games.
They share goodbyes and as Sulley and Mike leave.
Hardscrabble tells them they are the first to have surprised her and wishes them luck for the future. Mike and Sulley work at Monsters, Inc. in the company mailroom with the Abominable Snowman as the mailroom's manager. Working their way up through the company, the two eventually become part of the Scarer Team.

Turbo

In june we had seen the advertisment somewhere and since then Momochan had asked me if I could take her to see so this evening I took her to the cinema to see TURBO, the story of a snail which, by a funny accident, converts itself into a superquick animal able to race with cars in the famous race Indianalpolis 500 and win :)
Momochan has amused sooo much and has asked me to take to cinema again for next cartoon, Monster High which will be out the day after tomorrow !!!

PLOT

In Venice, California, Theo, a.k.a Turbo, is a garden snail who dreams of being the greatest racer in the world, just like his hero, 5-time Indianapolis 500 champ, Guy Gagné. His obsession with speed and all things fast has made him an oddity and an outsider in the slow and cautious snail community, and a constant embarrassment to his cautious older brother, Chet. Turbo desperately wishes he could escape the slow-paced life he's living, but his one chance to live proves a near fatal disaster when he tries to recover a prize tomato and needs to be rescued by Chet.

Demoralized, Theo wanders onto a freeway to admire the traffic and wishes on the very first star (which is actually an airplane light), "I wish...I wish I was fast". Suddenly, he gets into a freak accident when he gets sucked into the supercharger of a drag racer, fusing his DNA with nitrous oxide on a street race. The next day, when Theo wakes up from unconsciousness, his incident the night before finds himself vested with the power of incredible speed and accuracy, as well as some of the characteristics of an actual car, such as eyes that light up like headlights, and a shell that blinks red like taillights and makes car sounds and music from a radio.

Unfortunately, Theo's first attempt to show this power off ends with him crashing a Big Wheel tricycle into the garden, getting himself and Chet fired from the garden crew. As the siblings quarrel, Chet is snatched by a crow, but is pursued and rescued by Theo at a run down strip mall where they are then captured by Tito, a "Dos Bros" taco truck driver and is brought to race with other snails. Theo astounds both human and snail alike with his speed and earns the respect of the snails, led by Whiplash, with his crew Smoove Move, Burn, Skidmark, and White Shadow, who have impressive skills of their own.

Inspired by this extraordinary snail, Tito dreams to revive the strip mall with Theo as an attraction, and eventually with the help of the snails who manage to divert and strand a tour bus and drum up impressive business. At this success, Theo convinces Tito to try to enter the snail in Indianapolis 500 as a competitor. While Tito's brother, Angelo, still declines to support him, the neighbors agree to put up the entrance fee and accompany them to Indianapolis.
Once there, Tito is refused entry into the race, but a chance meeting with Guy Gagne gives Turbo a chance to show off his speed which astounds the race track at the snail qualifying for the race.

This impossible feat soon becomes a sensation on social media and the owner of the race gives in to the pressure, egged on by Gagne himself, to let the snail compete. However, the night before the race, Turbo is demoralized when his hero, Gagne, sneers at his attempt to race while Chet confesses that he cannot bear to see his brother endanger himself. Undeterred, Turbo enters the race the next day, but the dangerous racetrack and the far more experienced competition leaves him trailing in last place.

At a pitstop, Whiplash and his crew give Turbo a vital pep talk, advising him to race like a snail. Back in the race, Turbo realizes what they mean and uses his small size to maximum advantage with maneuvers around and under the competition that no human racer can emulate. With the snail rapidly gaining in the standings, Gagné races dirty and tries to kill the snail while Turbo finds to his alarm that his speed power is starting to fade. Finally, in the final stretch with Turbo in the lead, Gagné tries a desperate maneuver to beat the snail and gets into a major crash that snarls all the competitors in a major pileup. Similarly, Turbo is thrown, waking up once again from unconsciousness with a cracked shell and finds, to his despair, that his speed is gone.

Alarmed at seeing Turbo giving up and retreating into his shell barely a few feet from the finish line, Chet puts himself into incredible dangers to meet up with Whiplash's crew to get to the racer. Seeing his brother and friends arrive riding crows to encourage him to continue, Turbo resumes the race. Unfortunately, Gagne singlemindedly pursues him by dragging his wrecked car after the snail and attempts to crush him. At the last second, Chet tells Turbo to tuck and roll into his shell at Gagne's last blow and the force allows him to tumble past the finish line to win.

At this victory, the strip mall becomes a major attraction with all the businesses becoming spectacular successes including extremely elaborate snail races with Whiplash's crew getting special propulsion aids for their shells, while Chet is content as the track referee. As for Turbo, he becomes happier discovering that his shell has healed, and with that, his superspeed has returned.

Egyptian Museum

This morning Momochan and I will got o the Egyptian Museum in Turin where there is a special exhibition calledd The Immortals about ancient egiptians.
Fot tat purpose, we have waked up early, showered and dressed and gone for breakfast: I have to say breakfast was a nice sourprise except for the coffee which i guess was barley coffee, food was fresh and tasty, orange juice, bacon, hard boiledd eggs or scrambled eggs, toast, butter and various marmelades, fresh croissants, bread, various types of corn flakes, fruit salad ...
Momochann and I have tried everything (so we will not have to spend money for lunch and can wait until this evening at home).
After breakfast wee have returned to our room and have packed our belongings, we have come down to the reception to pay and have gone to the car to put the suitcases in the trunk.
The Egyptian Museum is just 20 minutes from the hotel but is best for us to go with the car so that when we come out wee are already near and can leave for home.

a day in Zoom Torino ;)

This morning Momochan and I leave home to go to Turin city. We want to have a small vacation and for that purpose I have booked a hotel in the center and bought a special packet that includes tickets for biopark and a night in the hotel, brakfast included, just the time to wake up, shower, dress and take the bagage and we are on the way ;)
After 50 km more or less we have a pit stop for coffee and Momochan orders a cup of milk, guess she tries to look like me.
In a little more than 90 minutes we arrive in Turin city, is nearly midday, we have to go hotel first to take the Zoom Biopark tickets.
Really Momochan is always like she is always in a hurry, she likes the animals but what she want most is to go to the Bolder beach pool but I have said her will we go to the pool only after having seen all the biopark and in a nervous moment she burst into tears, she is tired and hot does not help much.
As soon as we enter we see a strange thing: the cemetery of the extincted animals: dodo, some tigers and lions and some kind of bears.

Before going further we find a place where to stop and eat (is nearly 13.30 PM) other people with kids are eating already their pic nics foods.
Bolder Beach is just 20 meters from there and we can see ... but wee have to see the rest of the park or we will not be able to see after so Momochan starts to run to make quick. A funny lemuri  runs quickly in front of us and start to jump from a group of people to another then jumps into the little green forest of his place, Momochan laugh amused. Theese little penguins are very small but they are very quick when they swim, they look like missiles but when they are outside of water they are very funny and walk making little jumps bouncing here and there.

After returning a second time near lemuri, we finally succeed in seeing the black monkeys, when we apssed before, the monkeys were playing in the middle of the bamboos and we could not see also they have a dark colour so that in the shadow they literally disappear.

a day in Zoom Torino (follows)

Inside the space of the pool we cannot take anything so we discover we have a big problem: there are no cabinets to put our belongings beacuse there are too many people in the pool and cabinets have finished !!! GOSH
We walk a little around, Momochan wants to go to the pool, we have already weared our beach wear and is very hot but I absolutely cannot leave my bag and belongings but wee are finally lucky, a family is going away, they are in the changing room and we ask them if they can give us the key of the cabinet, it is ok for them so we go togather to the lady of the changing roomto tell we take the key, Momochan is soooo happy !
In a few seconds we are inside the water and is so nice, at the opposite side of the pool there is a big glass through wich we can see the penguins swim YEEEEEEEEE all the kids are laughing and jumping, Momochan amuses so much.
As we cannot take anything in the pool space is impossibile to take the camera so we have no fotos. At 17.30 more or less I start to freeze, it is still hot but not so much, my skin seems the one of the chiken so I tell Momo we have to get out and I propose her to have a ice cream, I need a big coffee ;)

As soon as we return to the cabinets and changing place I discover we have a big problem: when we came at the pool we took away our dresses and I put our underpnats and Momo t-shirt inside a sack, I had thought I had taken some fresh changing but instead I left in the car so now Momochan does not have any underpants nor t-shirt and me, I dont have undergarment either so we have to dry a little the swimsuit and wear again, I have my short pants and Momo either, I give her my little dress and make a knot to make it shorter, when wee will reach the car I will give her a fresh t-shirt from the suitcase :)
Now that we have solved the situation Momochan is happy, we go to the coffee corner and I buy a coffee and an ice cream for her, we also meet new possibile friends and togather with the other kids Momochan runs on the meadow after the peacocks ;)
Park is closing so we get out and we direct to the car, I open the trunk and get Momichan a fresh t-shirt so I can have my dress again, we have to go McDonalds and Momo is happy because she loves the nuggets and the fries.
We are tired and as the McDonalds is near the hotel in 30 minutes we are already back in the room, we make a shower and put the pijamas, I light the tv on and let Momochan watch cartoons but in a few seconds she call me urgently: maybe she hass eaten too much or she is tootired or maybe is the air conditioned in the hotel, I do not know but Momochan throws the dinner up ..... poor baby !
I wash her face and give her her her plush cat, put again inside the bed and in a few moments she fall asleep, tomorrow we have to go to the Egyptian Museum and we we'll have breakfast in the hotel before ;)
